Skahn Dra

S a n d o E v e n i n g
Skahn made motion to reply to the Hawk, who spoke as the leader, but before they could reply there was a quick gust of wind and sand was blown into the air. Skahn's large, wide head tilted to the side and their black glossy eyes locked on the one who announced themselves as the Karissa. What an odd display of magic. Was the Karissa challenging the Hawk's role as leader?...No, to Skahn tis seemed to be more of a personal grudge. But why threaten a fellow Runner. It made little sense to Skahn, but no matter, there were other arriving now. A stout Dwarf and a creature, soft-skin or not Skahn couldn't tell, covered in metal plates. Skahn had never seen such armor and it interested them. Skahn desperately wished to question the creature, but other things stood more paramount, such as the mission. Maybe later though, Skahn could ask. Skahn's eyes returned to the Hawk, and they began to sign, as The Hawk seemed to understand it last time. "Skahn apologizes, Skahn wishes to interrupt the..." there is a brief pause in the flurry of motion from Skahn's hands. "Skism between The Hawk and the Karissa to answer The Hawk's question as 'yes' and ask a question of Skahn's own. What are the details of this mission to Ruk? The Runners will be walking?" The question came almost eager at the end. Skahn very much wished that they would not be riding the Boga. So, Skahn let their hands rest and waited patently for an answer, as surely more would soon be levied on The Hawk. This was to be the first mission for many it seemed, and Skahn was worried that there large group may attract attention walking through the sands to Ruk.
