Geralt watched the Ringleader's ever move, looking for signs that what he had said had sunken in fully. It appeared this tactic had worked, at least as far as he could tell. There was the slightest bit of hesitation in Lucien's voice as he responded to Geralt's veiled ultimatum. Though The Magician couldn't be sure exactly what this hesitation indicated, he knew that it was better than nothing at all. Perhaps acknowledgement of their relationship was exactly what Lucien had needed to get some perspective on this situation. Either way, Geralt knew that something had to change now, for better or for worse, and that Lucien knew it too. The Magician merely nodded to Lucien's last statement, the smile remaining while the man was still in his presence. "Ah, yes, I will be sure to apologize and thank them for their patronage. I'm sure they were none-to-pleased about wasting their time in my line last night. I am sorry that my errand cost you extra work. Let me know if there is anything I can do to...make up for it." He took on an apologetic expression to match his contrite tone. If he knew that Lucien responded to anything it was someone in pain, someone in need. If that was who he had to be to get the Nephilim's attention, then so be it.
