His hair is a chestnut brown matching his eyes. Nothing about him is very remarkable, making blending into a crowd easier which is a major plus in his line of work.

Skills/Meta Abilities: 
[indent][i]Good Health, Great Mind:[/i] Steve isn’t some olympic level athlete but he’s in pretty good shape. He can keep up with some of the other tech based supers but his real advantage is his mind. Despite his age Steve is more than capable of holding his own with some of the greatest minds out there.

[i]Scarlet Scarab Suit:[/i] Based off the suit of the late and great Ted Kord Blue Beetle, the Scarlet Scarab suit doesn’t look all that fancy but under its thin layer of fabric is mesh armouring with heavier plating around his vitals. The helmet locks in place and can only be (properly) removed by someone wearing the suits gloves. The Suit’s visor gives him telescopic vision and has a built in AI that helps manage information and help out with tasks that need a more complicated setup than the suit allows (such as using computer systems remotely). The Suit’s biggest advantage is its modularity, with a built in power source Steve can continuously add and remove new parts to the suit as he hones his arsenal.

[i]Scarlet Airgun:[/i] Not wanting to cause much actual harm, Steve took another cue from Ted Kord and created an air based gun capable of a wide range of settings with a light breeze mode for keeping cool on a hot day to a setting strong enough to topple an elephant off its feet. The Airgun also has a grappling gun attachment.

[i]The Scarlet Skimmer:[/i] A hovercraft that Steve uses as a base of operation until he can find someplace better. The craft has retroreflective plating, allowing it keep itself hidden from the untrained eye. The size is comparable to a sea-can and has all of Steve’s tools along with a kitchen and bedroom.[/indent]

Personality: 
[indent]Steve is a pretty jolly guy, not letting on if something gets to him if it gets to him. This mentality carries over to fights, tending to keep himself in high spirits. Despite his criminal actions, he takes pride in having morals, not wanting to cause wanton destruction or harm if he can help it.[/indent]

Backstory: 
[indent]Steve never knew his parents, growing up in an orphanage but still living a relatively happy life as his natural aptitude for the sciences allowed him to pass his schooling with ease, leaving more time for messing around and getting up to no good. This cycle continued for a good amount of time, school being a bore and committing petty crimes becoming monotonous. That all changed when Steve came into conflict with a then just starting out Blue Beetle. 

After the death of the last Blue Beetle, a new one hit the hero scene using an alien suit of armour to take on crime, one of his fist forays being a small time shoplifting gig of which Steve was a part of. Coming face to face with the hero lit a spark in Steve, an inspiration to take his gig to the next level and become a proper bad guy. With his schooling coming to a close, Steve moved out on his own and used his smarts, limited income and iron will to carve out the beginnings of his career in villainy. 

Taking up the mantle of The Scarlet Scarab as a joke on the Blue Beetle, Steve carved a name for himself pulling off bigger and more impressive heists, many times being foiled but, so far, never being captured and unmasked.[/indent]
