	Javier is kind to a fault, a man who will put others first in almost any circumstance. The man knows only love for his fellow man, and is not shy about showing it. He is optimistic in almost any circumstance, finding humor and joy in the small things of life. He's experienced many things in his life, and will happily speak on these experiences for hours on end if not stopped, and even sometimes regardless of whether or not you try to stop him. He has a habit of humming and singing when he believes he's not being observed.

	Javier has strong moral beliefs, that have lead to him harboring a resentment for the corrupt and greedy governments of the world, though it rarely shows through his cheerful grin. Though he is cooperative with the migration to the new Eden on the surface level, there is reason to believe that his inclination against authority may make him suspicious of the motives of the Democratic League of Planets.

[color=gray][b]CHARACTER PROFILE :[/b][/color]
	Javier was born in Morelos, Mexico, to a family with roots held deep in the land. Javier had a baby brother by the name of Rodriguez, and the two were inseparable. In the Juan Valdez family, tradition was everything, so when a young Rico fell for an American woman he met on holiday and had a child, the family was incredibly upset with Rico- they kicked him out to the streets with a family he could not support. 

	Javier made a choice to support his brother rather than stay in the good graces of the family, so he moved to America and together the brothers started a small restaurant in which Javier put his skills to good use. The restaurant gained some notoriety in the small town they moved into, and as technology evolved, so did their business. Eventually Rico's son was old enough to work and took a shining to the new family business- so he became the third of the Tres Hermanos. 

	Eventually Rico's son Ruiz found himself in less than savory company and became an addict. Javier and Rico gave him all the support they could to get him out of the hole, but Ruiz succumbed to his addiction and died at the age of 22. This destroyed Rico emotionally, who left to reconnect with their family in Morelos in desperate search of some hope. Javier stayed with the restaurant, promising that Rico would always have a place to stay when he was ready. Five years after Rico left, the aliens made contact, and still Javier hasn't heard a word from his brother.

	After being selected for the great migration, Javier left the Tres Hermanos as well as the small fortune he had collected from a life of simple living under the supervision of Rico's wife, so that if Rico were to return he would not be left in the dirt like he was so long ago. [/hider]
