Character name: A.J. Takatsu Character age: 19 Character appearance: Can't remember who I used for the FC She's usually wearing a deep green t-shirt with brown swirls on it, a denim jacket, black jeans and hiking shoes. Character gender: Female Character magic mastery: Wind and Earth Character magic burst: A Thousand Stings: A.J. whips up the wind around her pulling up the Earth. They swirl around, eventually becoming the unholy offspring of a hurricane and a sandstorm, which she can then send flying in whichever direction she wants. Until she does unleash it, it also acts as basically a shield, protecting her while getting ready to launch the fury. Useful for a directional attack, or a room clearing move. However, being in the center of this storm, she's subject to the most powerful of the winds, draining her energy and leaving her all but passed out from the pressure. Character background: A.J. was born to a Japanese father and American mother, both were Reclaimers, her father specializing in Wind, and her mother in Earth. They taught their only child well, she soon became skilled in handling both kinds of magic. A.J. came up with the concept of A Thousand Stings when she was 13, her father saw what she was doing and had her try it at full strength. It quickly proved a powerful move, destroying the training figures, but leaving her severely drained in an almost coma-like state. It didn't matter to Dad though, he saw a way to finally clear out the Eclipsers of the Northwest Corridor. He kept getting her to practice the move, every time she would be unconscious at the end, which means she would be completely vulnerable. They practiced for five long years, but it didn't seem like A.J. would ever be able to use it effectively in a fight with the Eclipsers without collapsing. Her father grew impatient. He wanted to attack the Northwest Corridor anyway, taking A.J. for one time use. Her mother refused this, and they fought. Eventually it was decided the attack would go through, but A.J. would be left behind, as a last resort. The attack was successful, even without A.J., and the Eclipsers were defeated, but it came at a price. Both Takeru and Cynthia Takatsu were killed in the battle. A.J.'s been drifting around the Reclaimer base ever sense, a lost soul amongst the resistance. Character personality: Since her parents deaths, A.J. has become a very sullen person. She blames herself for not being strong enough to accompany her parents to try and save them. She has almost no self-confidence and is pretty much a pushover at this point. Before the tragedy, she was determined, she was a fighter, she looked forward to being able to go against the enemy as she was raised to do, but after that day, she's basically a shell. Weapons and armour: A.J. has no armor, but she does have a weapon. Before he left, her father gave her a pistol, capable of pooling any free flowing Synth energy in the air into a potent bullet. She doesn't like using it though, certain that if her dad didn't give her this, both her parents would be here. Character strengths: Her magic burst is incredibly effective, and due to the years of training from her father, she is very flexible and fast. She's not as strong as she once was, since she stopped training heavily, but still very capable. Character weaknesses: A.J.'s mental state is almost non-existent, shattered since her loss. If anyone wants her to do anything, she pretty much has to be told. It's not hopeless to think she might eventually be able to be rebuilt, but there is a lot of despair to go through. Synth energy color: Deep orange Synth odor: Cinnamon
