As Blake waited for a response, he heard his phone ding, but from not Angelica, but Jamie. He read the text message request. Jamie wanted to on a job, hmm? Blake had been on some interesting adventures with Jamie for sure in the past, and while some of them had ended with him in the hospital, and some more of them ended with them both in jail, spending time with Jamie was pretty fun. After a brief period of pondering, he texted back to Jamie- [/center]

Blake then entered the elevator, riding it up to the third floor, that being the Hero Hub. The Hero Hub was a large room that was normally bustling with activity but today was fairly tame, with only a few heroes moving about to claim jobs and such. After Blake swiped his HERO card to get a bottle of Coke from the vending machine, he walked over to one of the kiosks that lined the walls, which was in essence a tablet built in front of a large TV screen. Dangling from the side of the kiosk was a pair of earbuds, which Blake put in. He then pressed his palm against the cool glass screen, and then in his ears, a familiar woman's voice reverberated in Blake's ears.

[color=CC5500]"Hey, Samantha. Tell me the available missions for two people. A-tier and above."[/color]

[color=7bcdc8]"Affirmative."[/color] After a brief pause, Samantha spoke again, projecting images up on the TV screen. Up first on the screen was the exterior of a bank. [color=7bcdc8]"Mission one. Bank robbery in progress in East Flank Community Bank. It is after-hours, so there are no hostages, but immediate action to stop them is requested."[/color] The screen then flickered to an image of what appeared to be a dockside. [color=7bcdc8]"Mission two. Massive drug trade in progress on the East Flank harbor. A major Brookside and East Flank gang are trading what preliminary scans have revealed to be narcotics in large numbers."[/color] The screen flickered once more to reveal what looked to be a giant lizard-man. [color=7bcdc8]"Mission three. Iguanosaur spotted. Last seen on Passenger Island. Detainment or extermination requested before civilian casualties mount."[/color]

[color=CC5500]"Thank you kindly, Samantha. Give me a moment."[/color] Blake took out his phone again and texted Jamie, hoping that she had some type of voice recognition software in her car.[/center]

He sent the message, staring at his phone while he waited for a response. This would be fun.
