Discretion Something about EE Slaves That was all Addie could think about other than the wall and ground churning like it was liquid, but regardless she wandered aimlessly further and further away from everything, while Takari Square burned down and robots clattered to coral all the innocent people in, she was just slowly moving against the walls of the buildings, by now she’s away from most of it, but she can’t help but hear those same words in her head more and more, something about those EE guys just burned itself in her head, something about Mars being enslaved, but that already happens, right? The whole time, she felt on the verge of vomiting, you know that feeling you get after everything starts spinning, it was like that, but not in front of her, it was just at her fingertips where she touched things, the walls and cars of buildings she was still dizzily leaning against just moved on their own around her, and the whole time her body felt like it was in some constant loop of falling, like that feeling in dreams you wake up from instantly. Everything about her was just off. Either Mars was in some kind of terrible danger, or she was just really messed up, probably the former, since hobbling down the street in the direction of hundreds of screaming people didn’t help. Some of the lights had gone off from the shock, and every time she touched something new, a new part of the block, a different car to lean against, something flashed in her eyes, some kind of imprint inside the things she touched, finally she came to a standstill, to catch her breath. Addison stared at the car, some black model she couldn’t recognize through the haze, one moment it felt like she was staring at the surface, then the inside of it, it wasn’t normal, but that image in her head just grew stronger, she felt like she could just feel the things the car did, if cars could feel things. Addie has no idea what she was looking at or into, but the more the looked at that image, the more it somehow sounded like the car, in her head. Addie was losing it. At least she thought she was until she tried to turn her mind away from the thought of the car, and a hole ripped open in the car. Addie couldn’t help but jump back a bit, barely being able to stand on her feet, in the door of the car was a sudden crater, the metal just sprung to life and warped around her hand into some kind of bowl shape about the side of her head, it wasn’t crushed inwards, but instead it provided out like it was alive and reaching by for something. It was weird, but Addie reached out and touched it again, when she did the spikes seemed to recede, and bend, her head was still really foggy, but clearing up. Whatever was happening, Addie couldn’t handle it yet.
