Inspired less by current trends in American music and more by idols in the New Wave and New Romantic movement across the pond, Logan dreams of becoming a post-punk darling; of hearing his songs in the ending credits of John Hughes movies; of living the lifestyle of the rich and famous and doing mountains of coke.

Like many, Logan has preemptively started the rockstar life that others can afford but he currently cannot. He has a mounting drug problem that doesn't concern him yet – cocaine, ecstacy, acid, and [i]occasionally[/i], like his punk predecessors, heroin – that helps him get through the weekly failures of the business.

Six years ago in Nowhere, Ohio, a quiet kid named Logan Prescott who was better known for his fanatic discussion of LPs than any academic achievements dropped out of high school to join a friend of a friend's band. [i]The Sinnermen[/i] were punk in a time when punk was dying off inch by inch, and after the loss of half their roster, they were recruiting anyone with a modicum of musical talent in their small town.

Logan, musically talented but at that point unable to tell a dead-end from a smash success, jumped at the chance to free himself from a life under the iron boot of his step-father. He bleached his hair blonde, got in one final argument so that he could get the last word in, and left home for greener pastures. The rest of his teenage years would be spent crammed into a Columbus apartment with his older bandmates, creating infrequently but feuding often.

A few successful gigs with Logan on guitar and later backing vocals led to his growing ego and a festering discontent within the group. The more he pushed to turn their music [i]popular[/i], because it was what their meagre audiences liked and he was an eighteen-nineteen-twenty year old who knew best, the greater the rift grew. After a few conflicts in the summer of 1984, fights over "queers" in the band (Logan) and who slept with who's girlfriend (also Logan) that came to blows, [i]The Sinnermen[/i] were no more.

Logan stole the name when he came to LA not two months later, seeking a fresh start. It hasn't landed him much success in the past few years; only a revolving door of musicians to jam with and the necessity of an under-the-table job to keep himself afloat while he looks for his big break.
