Fame and fortune are nice too, but when she's gone she wants to leave a legacy behind. Dilemma Bea struggles to stand out in a sea of similar faces. It doesn't help that she's reckless with her money buying cigarettes and alcohol before making sure she has enough to cover her rent.
Biography: Beatrice Harmon was born August 9 in Arlington, Virginia. The third and final of the Harmon children, born to Tucker and Louise. Growing up Bea was fortunate enough to have everything she could have ever asked for. Well, anything material anyways. Her parents made more than enough for their three kids with Tucker working as a pilot and Louise, secretary to the president of a bank. But, both of those jobs demanded so much time that they weren't often home. Mostly raised by her oldest sister, things were fine as a kid. It was only once the eldest Harmon daughter moved out that things started to become rocky. At 12 Bea decided that she had figured the world out. Her parents continued to work ridiculous hours, and at any event she would only ever see the middle sister, Natalie, there to support her. Even her oldest sister couldn't be bothered to check in once she had moved out of the house. She began to reason that if most of her family couldn't bother to show up for her the least they could do was get her whatever she wanted. Each Christmas and birthday came with increasingly ludicrous demands. By the time Bea was in high school, she would demand a new designer sweater just because it was a Thursday. But make no mistake, a garment bag would be sitting on her bed within 24 hours. Once Natalie moved out, Bea started finding others to replace the family she desperately missed. Those strangers did not care for her the way she cared for them. They would sneak her into a club and then leave her when they found something more interesting to do. It forced her to grow up fast. Everyone she came across only looked out for themselves, so she started to do the same. She stopped caring what trouble she got into and began drinking and smoking. She even tried drugs a couple times. No matter how much trouble she got into there was no one there to set her straight. After high school she spent a year in Europe traveling. Honestly, the whole trip was kind of fuzzy but it had been a fun time. When she returned to Virginia her parents insisted that she attend college. The only solace she found there was theatre. One professor opened her eyes to the possibilities around acting, and Bea was hooked. Her natural talent only encouraged her further. She still partied just like she used to in high school. One day when she slipped out the back door for a smoke, she found a dead body behind a dumpster. The cops later told her that the girl had OD'ed and had been there for a week. That was the deciding moment for Bea. She wasn't going to end up as some forgotten corpse rotting away somewhere. She wanted live a life where people would remember who she was. That same night she packed a bag and started hitchhiking across the country. Whenever she was low on cash she would pawn a piece of jewelry or sell a pair of designer shoes. When she arrived in Oceanside a year ago, she felt right at home. There was always something going on and Bea was determined to make them all stop and stare...one day. She got a job working at a diner and found a tiny apartment. So far she had only booked jobs as background extras, but she knew that one day she would catch her big break.
