Instead of sleeping for eight hours all at once, they'd sleep for 4-6 and wake up for a few hours in the middle of the night before sleeping again for another 4-6. Being predators, they would sleep a little more than humans to do conserve energy between hunts like big cats and other carnivorous animals. So maybe 10 hours per day rather than 8. Even 12 or more sometimes if they really need to conserve energy

Anyway, when he wakes up during the night, he could study English on the tablet, and since he's a fast learner, he'd pick it up quicker than a human learning a foreign language would.
