[/cell][cell][color=#807B84][indent]Darnell Edwards was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to a police officer and a bank teller in the late autumn of 1970.

Most notably, Darnell was known for his contributions to Indiana sports. He played college basketball at Indiana State and was a well-scouted player during High School. He was later picked in the second round of the 1992 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He played in said league for eighteen years, serving as a skilled sixth man. He ended his career in 2010 after spending four years with the Indiana Pacers. Following his retirement he looked into staying home in Indiana and returned to his hometown.
