Her fellow catgirl seemed quite excited at the prospect of being taught magic, which made Helena rather happy. She was looking forward to helping out her fellow catgirl, and wasn't hiding her own excitement either. As Daria asked about what made the third library special, the ice mage shook her head. Then, as Daria spoke about literates, Helena couldn't ignore her roommate's tone, indicating that she held some degree of dislike towards the idea of being able to read... but Helena knew Daria would probably have to pick it up at some point sooner or later...

Of course, that could come later! If Helena could manage to teach Daria the basics of magic, then perhaps the catgirl would want to learn more magic, which could lead to her wanting to learn how to read to be able to learn more spells on her own.
