She can just about get along with everyone as she is very easygoing and always has a smile to share. Yet, when there are dangers about, she is steadfast and strong. The girl had to learn at a very young age to be brave yet gentle. As flexible and mischevious as the water, yet gentle and majestic as the moon.[/color]

[color=4682B4]Born on the night of the Winter Solstice, her single mother perished during childbirth. The mother's best friend took the child in and raised her on her own, never knowing who the baby's father was. Not being part of a coven, the woman began to teach Elsie from a young age how to control her magic. She witnessed the child having a strong pull to water and it fascinated her. Whenever her surrogate child became angered, anything containing water around her would explode. It was as if the element was listening to her and obeying every whim. 

Thanks to her early education, Elsie grew to be a very talented and strong witch in her own right. She was educated about the different covens and what dangers could befall her if her secret was to ever get out. To blend in with the crowd, the talented artist took up a job at a local tattoo shop. Art fascinated her just as much as her magic and she loved to bring joy to people's faces. She became very good at her apprenticeship and was well on her way to become a full artist.

That was, until the day her adopted mother was killed. There were rumors around town regarding how she died, yet nothing had ever been concrete. Elsie searched their shared apartment and found documents speaking of a small town called Ember Grove. Something about the name stirred within her memory; something was telling her she needed to be there.

And so, Elsie packed up her entire life and moved to Ember Grove. She was able to quickly find a small apartment and found work at a local library- something completely different than her previous career. A feeling told her she needed to blend in. This was the best possible way she knew how.[/color]
