She never engages in conversation without knowing a great deal about the individual she is speaking too and absolutely hates to be surprised in any capacity. Catherine putting trust in someone is more rare the most precious metals and to be counted among those she does is an incredible feat in itself. Loyalty and trust and the most sacred virtues in her clan and those that break these will more often than not find themselves alive for much longer. Threats to the clan are met with extreme prejudice and she delights in send gruesome and blunt messages to anyone that threatens her people, including those that are not vampires. Underneath the calculating and ruthless leader lies a disillusioned idealist with grand dreams of creating a world where humans, vampires, werewolves, and witches can all live in peace and work together. This leads Catherine to be much more tolerant of the other races as long as they don't threaten the foundation or the clan. She often seeks out those she believes have the talent or potential to serve the foundation, especially those who with nowhere else to go. However, Catherine will stand by her fellow vampires at the end of the day over the other races should it come down to it. Catherine also possesses strong motherly instincts and will protect those weaker than herself if she has the chance. She has a darker sense of humor and prefers to visit bars and clubs that have a [i][b]tougher[/b][/i] reputation. While she has no interest in making friends, she certainly enjoys the occasional fling if they are able to catch her eye. Catherine is not afraid to take what she wants and do what she must in pursuit of her dream.
