She became the first person in her family to go to college, and the first to become a police officer. After 2 years with the Hartford Police Department, she transferred to the NYPD. There, she quickly worked her way up the ranks. A one off job got her in the good graces of a sergeant at the special victims unit and she joined their department working undercover operations. A month ago, she put in the paperwork to transfer to the homicide unit. While she loved ever second of what she did, she wanted more.
