Name: Brian MacKenzie Hero Alias: ? Age: 21 Powers: I guess you can call me the perfect healing machine. Any wound I take, I can regenerate, like it was never there. It's a bit painful when I do it, but I barely notice it anymore. Not only that, I can heal anyone around me, the exact same way. Again, it's painful, but it gets the job done. Also, thanks to some "professionals" who met me when I was younger, I have some control over dark energy. Like, have you ever played Mass Effect? Then you have a good idea of what I can actually do with that, although you have to scale it back a bit, I'm not pro at it. Weaknesses: -I have to remain still if I'm healing up, otherwise, you know stuff would get a little out of place. It makes me a sitting duck, but I'm not having my bone stick out of my arm again. That sucked. Plus, you know, the pain. -Same thing if I'm healing someone else, only both people have got to be still. -I'm not immortal. I can't survive like, a shotgun blast, or decapitation or anything like that. I'm not that good. -Beer, but then again, you could have guessed that. Weapons: N/A Appearance (both civilian and hero costume): All right well I kinda of stick out a little bit, being 6'4" will do that for ya, and I'm lanky too, there isn't much muscle. If somehow you saw my hair, you'd see it's mostly short, a bit longer in the back, it's straight and dirty blond, almost brown, but not quite. My beard is some how lighter in color. Don't know how. It goes around like a chinstrap, I'm told it makes me look better. My eyes stand out too, they are a deep blue like a Yukon lake in winter. Normal everyday attire? It's nothing fancy, I just stick with a random t-shirt I grab, blue jeans, my old pair of sneakers, and depending on the season, an assortment of baseball hats between spring and fall, and my red toque in the winter. (Yes toque. Don't test me on this.) I was supposed to have a costume? Shit, um well, I've been wearing this motorcycle helmet I picked up cheap from a secondhand store, and this leather jacket I don't wear unless I'm out looking for people who need help. I don't know, what about my powers screams "biker healer"? I'm sorry, I'm a bit new to this whole superhero thing. Going to need some work on that. Personality: I like to think I'm a pretty fun guy to hang out with, you know, very open. I'm usually the first to help out in trouble, I guess that's why I started getting into the superhero realm, once I knew about it. I'm very social, I like being in the crowd, much more fun than being alone. I'm um...not very good at describing myself. You're better off asking people who know me for that. Biography: OK, get comfy, cause its story time. I was born in Port Hood, Nova Scotia, to a poor family. We lived pretty close to the ocean, close enough where the winds from off the Gulf could knock you right over if you weren't careful. According to my folks, it was pretty normal life at first, running around, drinking juice, kid stuff. Then when I was eight, I was playing with my brother on the bunk beds and we both fell off the top bunk, I landed on my arm, he landed on his leg, both totally broke. My bro was freaking, I was freaking but paralyzed, like I couldn't move. I was calling out for the folks, and when they got to me they saw my arm literally put itself back into place. They couldn't believe it. My bro was still crying so I tried to put him at ease. I wanted to see if his leg was really broken and then as I touched him, the leg started healing too. It was crazy. They were sure something was wrong so they took me and him to Dr. MacInnis. He said we were perfectly fine, even though they saw our limbs broken. And then that's when the government came in. See Canada? Not as peaceful as you all might think. There was some real freaky stuff going on. I was taken to a military facility in Fort MacMurray, Alberta where testing went on. A lot of testing. They wanted to see the extent of my powers, short of full on blasting me in the head, and I passed through everything, without a scratch. I even healed one of the construction workers who got into a nail gun incident. They said while they had seen the regeneration powers before, I was the first to be able to regenerate people. They said I would be very useful. After a couple years, they said they wanted to try something they hadn't tried before, cause no one was able to handle it. I was just like 10, so I figured, you know I could do it. I don't remember what happened after I said yes, but when I woke up I could do things. Float things. Not very well though, but enough to be noticeable. They had me work on it, training for a couple years, but I was never really that good with it. I didn't get more time because in 2003, Prime Minister Martin shut the whole thing down. Said it wasn't needed anymore. I think he was just looking for something to cut. The guys in the facility returned me home, parents were pretty happy actually. The scientists said that with my studies, I could reenter the school system, but I would have to keep everything secret. I didn't want to stand out, so I did. I went through all of high school and the couple years I worked to end up some nest money without showing off any of these powers. I finally got enough saved up so I could attend university, and I enrolled at Nova State since it was cheap and they offered me a little scholarship money. During my first year, I kept hearing about all these attacks on the streets and stuff and, I don't know, it just got to me. I figured I couldn't let this stand so I started going out at night, wearing that helmet, seeing if I could help anyone. I'm pretty sure that's not the best way to survive here, so I thought I could join up with you guys. I mean, I gotta be some use, right? Notes: Um.....not sure what to put here. I'll just leave it blank. Link: Here
