Aia thought about answering, but decided it was best to let them sort things out. She reminded herself that she was supposed to be watching the students as well as acclimating them to their new surroundings. She was representing Ishin’s student council in a way and she knew that meant she shouldn’t say anything that would look poorly upon the academy. She felt like she had already said too much as it was, but it still fit within the guidelines that she had been given by the school's headmaster. She wondered why they picked her instead of someone else from class 2A that had the right approach to welcoming students. What is done is done. She supposed, as she observed the conversation in front of her. Shun and Hajo seemed like the most excited to get things along, but Ishin had historically gathered people from all sorts of Japanese backgrounds and with varying personalities. Not everyone at Ishin had the demeanor of a samurai. Hajo might have found Aia's class kind of goofy if and when she got to know them, after all. It made the brown-haired girl wonder herself if Ishin's reputation wasn't entirely manufactured sometimes. She knew the history and the students that she had been directed to lead were getting the very same sensei that she did, so Aia knew better than assuming Ishin's image was pretense alone. The students may have been goofy, but they would still have to get used to Ishin's tests and trials. She wondered how they'd handle it all? Would they make the same assumptions? “That's the spirit!” She chirped as Shun responded to Hajo with a lot of optimistic, hopeful energy. Now she finally had her bearings she pointed toward the building behind the group across the courtyard. “Like I said, if you need me, I'll be in that building over there. Later!” And without a second thought Aia had moved into the courtyard. This time she wouldn't slip on a sheet of ice.
