[indent]With a short and slim stature and rather youthful appearance, Naoko doesn’t give off the image of a teacher of an illustrious school such as hogwarts. She has a delicate and slender face with large, dark brown eyes that only further add to her looking younger than she is. Her long and straight black hair is normally kept tied up in a ponytail or a bun, unless she is relaxing. She has a slender figure which generally lacks in curves. Naoko could easily be described as pretty, and indeed she is in a graceful but not incredibly in your face way. When not wearing her teaching robes she will wear often loose, oversized knitted jumpers or jerseys over pastel shirts and simple trousers or skirts. She favours paler colours in shades of blue, grey, pink and orange.

Naoko has many scars from her time as an auror. The most predominant one travels up the side of her body, from her left leg curling round to under her armpit. There is another particularly nasty one on the right side of her stomach. Due to previous injuries she has a lower stamina than most people, and can only stay standing for a few hours before having to rest. [/indent]

[indent]Naoko is a sensible and intelligent lady, with a very no nonsense attitude. She has absolutely no tolerance for troublemakers and slackers and will be incredibly strict with those who mess around or don’t bother trying in her classes. However she is fair and very good with the students who do well in class or those who genuinely try, but struggle. She will focus a lot of energy and attention on ensuring those who are having a difficult time learning get all the help they need, as long as they try. However if her student’s don’t bother they’re likely to find themselves at the wrong side of Naoko, who is quick to discipline troublemaking students.

Outside of teaching, Naoko is still fairly serious but a lot quieter than most would expect. While she enjoys the company of others, having a sharp wit, she is fairly introverted. Due to this she isn’t someone who easily makes friends. A lot of her time is spent sketching or drawing in silence and she is unlikely to ever approach someone else first. She is surprisingly gentle, outside of her strictness within the classroom, and quick to give a kind word to those that need it. However she is generally a woman of few words, one who prefers a comfortable silence and meaningful conversation rather than unnecessary talking. [indent][indent]Naoko was born in Kyoto, Japan, to a pureblood father and half blood mother. She grew up almost entirely in the wizarding world, with a two year younger brother. When she was seven she started to attend Mahoutokoro School of Magic as a day student and then at age eleven as a boarding student. She spent her years there enjoying prestige for her cherry wand and being among the top students. However when she was fourteen her father tragically passed away from an incurable illness and at age fifteen her mother remarried, to a visiting member of the British Ministry of Magic. As a result they moved to the United Kingdom and her, and her thirteen year old brother, were given a place at Hogwarts. Here she got sorted into Ravenclaw and continued to excel even with the struggles of changing schools.

She graduated with flying colours and was accepted into Auror training. Her direct mentor in the Auror was Petra Furaha, with whom she closely bonded over the years of training and afterwards when they both worked as full Aurors together until Petra retired. Naoko excelled in the Auror due to her skill in offensive magic, strong sense of justice and intellect. However after years in the Auror, around age 29, she got in an intense firefight with a skilled dark wizard and ended up severely injured. She spent a few months in a coma in hospital and when she woke up had to work hard to regain her strength, and the use of her left leg. While she almost fully recovered she wasn’t quite the same - she was much physically weaker and could no longer do physically straining exercise, even if her spellcasting was just as strong as before. As a result she had to retire from the Auror.

It was in her time recovering that she reached out to Petra, who was currently the Charms professor at hogwarts. Through Petra, Naoko got accepted to take over from the retiring Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. She quickly took to the job and made a name for herself as doing well for it, her real life experience making it easier to teach. Just a few years ago the current Ravenclaw head retired and the position was given to Naoko who took it gratefully. [/indent][/indent]

[indent]Smart and passionate, Cassian has an enigmatic charm to him. He is well and easily liked by teachers and students alike and tries to instill in them a love for a subject most would dismiss. However, while Cassian is well liked he is fairly strict in his class and has incredibly high standards of both standard of work and how much effort is put in. He has high moral values which encompasses all sets of life so he is harsh on troublemakers and those who would pettily harm others, or just slack off. However he is fair when it comes to his judgments and always ensures to listen to both sides of the story. He is consistent in his opinions and will always stick to them, not one to be easily swayed by what others may say. This can be seen as stubborn by many but he sees it as sticking to his own values. He is very honest often to the point of being blunt and while he will always try to help his students, he will not lie about their talents in his subject which can be off putting to those not good at it. Cassian spent years travelling to further his field of work, while aiding others on the side. It was on these travels that he met his current wife, Sophia, a well established Arithmancer. They settled down together at a home in Hogsmeade when she was offered the job of Arithmancy professor at Hogwarts just after they had their second child. Cassian continued to travel, though less frequently - he did a lot of his work in the astronomy tower of Hogwarts with the permission of McGonagall.  A few years ago the Astronomy teacher, and Ravenclaw head at the time, retired and Cassian gladly accepted the job to take his place. [/indent][/indent]

She is quick to lose her temper and give out punishments who she deems in the wrong and is not necessarily fair about it. She is quick to form biases when it comes to her students. She is very intelligent academically, with high ambitions and a cunning that makes her a clear Slytherin. However she keeps her true ambitions well under wraps. Louise is actually well liked among the teachers due to being down to earth, calm and easy to talk to. She is a much less forceful personality outside of her lessons even if she is still rather intolerant of idiots. However this all covers a deeper truth of her true ambitions and distaste for all those who do not fit into the perfect, pureblood run world she believes in. Louise is actually an incredibly ruthless and cruel woman who will stop at nothing to see her twisted ambitions become a reality. She is a skilled liar meaning that she is safe in her position, unsuspected of being the kind of Slytherin that they all fear.[/indent]

[indent][indent]Louise was born to pureblood parents, with a mother from Ireland and an English father. She was brought up with their thinking and prejudices as an only child. She attended Hogwarts as a Slytherin and graduated with flying colours, with a particular talent in History of Magic and Charms. Upon graduating Louise joined the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, eventually becoming an Obliviator and moving up through the ranks. With memory erasure came brushes with the dark arts and the corruption that began to form within the ministry. Louise gladly joined the new Dark Order beginning to form, with its goals aligning with her own ambitions. She volunteered to work as a professor at Hogwarts along with Edmund Travers, taking up the role as History of Magic teacher to try and skip over the historical events that may tarnish the Ministry’s appearance. Though the two work closely together as high-ranked wizards in the Dark Order, they have managed to convince everyone at the school of their hatred for each other - something that is added to by their current roles as Head of Slytherin and Gryffindor.
