[indent]At first glance Ishbel is rather average, both in height and general appearance. She’s got a square face with a slight defined jawline and a wide, soft nose. Her hair is mousy brown in colour and falls to her shoulders, with a short fringe that stops just above her eyebrows. Her skin is fair and unlikely to ever tan due to her Scottish blood. Ishbel wears a pair of light purple-pink coloured glasses due to being badly short sighted. Ishbel favours patterned t shirts and cropped jeans to wear outside of uniform, often with denim jackets on top. She favours all shades of pinks and purples along with lighter shades of blue and white. [/indent]

[indent]Ishbel is a friendly and bright girl, even if she can be rather quiet and shy at first. It takes her a little bit to grow comfortable around others but once she finds common ground she can easily keep up a conversation. She’s got a soft and kind heart that finds her always helping those in need and is good at keeping a calm, level head during possibly worrying situations. She has a high empathy and is always willing to lend a helping hand or ear, being a very good listener and easily sympathising with people and helping them through their problems. However she is quick to do as she is told by others and struggles to question people even if she knows what they are saying or telling her to do is wrong. She is easily moved from her own opinion and will avoid arguments at all costs. She also has a bad habit of blaming herself for things going wrong even if it was completely outside of her own control and takes what others say about her to heart. [/indent]

[indent][indent]Ishbel was born in the highlands to two wizard parents, who ran a small farm. While this contained a few animals and did some business for muggles it mostly consisted of magical plants, with both her parents being Herbologists. Ishbel was the middle of five children and grew up tussling in the mud with her older brothers while helping out at the farm. Even though she played with her siblings she was one of the quieter of the five, more interested in her parent’s work and learning all about the magical plants especially those with medicinal properties. She’s excited to start at Hogwarts soon, to make new friends and to explore the world outside the small section of Scotland she’s lived in.  [/indent][/indent]

It’s something he’s been teased relentlessly about by his siblings and he has some confidence issues with his appearance. However he’s a cute boy, with a soft round face and large dark eyes. His hair is cut short at the back with a neat, straight fringe at the front that falls down to his eyes. He has a gentle, slightly upturned nose. To make up for his young appearance, outside of school uniform Liqin tries to dress nicely in Asian fashion trends - often shirts and jackets with nice trousers. He is almost never found without his camera.[/indent]

[indent]One of the most noticeable things about Liqin is his passion, erring on obsession, with photography. He’s never found without his camera. He’s an incredibly hardworking and diligent boy… when it comes to photography and other things he enjoys. He struggles a lot more with the subjects he doesn’t find interesting. Li is very adventurous and loves nothing more than to go on walks among nature or similar to get some great shots, even if it puts himself in danger. He’s honestly a bit of an idiot when it comes to his sense of danger and will risk himself far too often to get a good photograph - even trying to take them while riding a broom. He’s very observant and perceptive, easily telling when people’s emotions change or when something is often - something that comes from spending so much of his life with a camera in his hands. He keeps a cool head under pressure and is unlikely to panic when in danger, which is a good thing because he probably put himself there. Li is friendly and bright but can often be quiet and shy if the topic of conversation isn’t one he knows much about, or he’s among people he doesn’t know. It’s with people that he is close to that he really comes out of himself into a cheerful and passionate person. He has a bad habit of taking photographs of people without asking or hiding in odd places to get some cool shots, lacking in a bit of social awareness. Still around his eccentricities he’s well liked, probably helped by how down to earth and modest he is when it comes to his talents. [/indent]

[indent][indent]Liqin was born to a pureblood mother and muggleborn mother, who moved to England before he was born to escape his mother’s strict parents’ disapproval of their marriage. Li himself was likely a mistake as he has three older sisters, with the closest in age being four years older than him. He grew up with what sometimes felt like four mothers - his older sister’s would always nag him and force him to play all sorts of games with them that he didn’t want to participate in. Still, even though they teased him he had a generally good relationship with them all. He was probably closer to his sisters than he was to his parents due to them being strict with high expectations of their children. This wasn’t helped when his oldest sisters got sorted into Ravenclaw and his other sister as a Gryffindor and talented quidditch player. All he had was photography, something he’d fallen in love with at a young age and plans to keep up even when he starts at Hogwarts. [/indent][/indent]
