Sue The number of students that were in the same class with Sue was normal, to say the least, being used to smaller classrooms back in her special schools. Furthermore, Sue was used to the crowd, the sociable person she tended to be. Back when and where friends knew her, they knew not to ask open-ended questions with her, just the yes and no. She would always respond, as she was always attentive. Here, it was more difficult. Sue was lucky enough to find one person who knew sign, but the rest just kept on talking, her earmuffs doing its work but it was disconcerting to say the least. Not to be the rude person she wanted to seem, she turned to Jack, she sat still on his desk, and signed: ”Hey, you busy?” ”You wouldn’t mind introducing me to our classmates, would you?” she signed, with the largest grin she could pull off, revealing all the way back to her premolars, peace sign on her right hand to her right cheek.
