[indent]Let’s get it out of the way: Soleil Jameson isn’t exactly the kind of person you would call ugly- and she sure as hell knows as much. Sure, her above-average height always stood out, and her body’s build falling on the side of muscular slim rather than dainty slim used to be a target for criticism back in the day. But now? With that cascading dark mane, the piercing tiger green eyes, all paired with the confidence with which she carries herself? It was shocking that anyone would have ever considered her anything less than the queen she is. 

There’s a sense of awe and reverence when Sol walks into a room, and the feeling of it fills her with a sense of power. She’s not one to purposely call attention to herself, opting to stay out of the limelight in order to blend in and carefully observe those around her. However, this laid-back attitude is not to be confused with cowardice. If you come for her or she feels threatened by you in any way, Shady isn’t afraid to use her strength, sharp wit or resort to aggression in order to intimidate or put people in their place.

Her parents were young and drunk at a Fourth of July party, and got way more than they bargained for when they partied without a hat. They tried to make it work for her sake, but the struggle with their inner demons became too much, and their toxicity overpowered their genuine love for each other. Now a single mother, Sierra Jameson returned home, trying to make ends meet with a toddler that depended on her. It was during this trying time that she reconnected with her high school sweetheart Jason Singh, and the two rekindled a romantic relationship that led to marriage.

Eventually, Sierra became a high-ranking officer in the Air Force, and Jason was an important asset to the field of child psychology investigation. But behind closed doors, the picture-perfect family was falling apart at the seams. Jason was consumed with his investigation, and Sierra was more in love with her job than her family. She accepted deployments continuously, meaning she was rarely home to witness the growing animosity between the now-teenage Sol and her stepfather. So when the topic of divorce came up, the million dollar question was who would be looking after ‘the girl’.

The answer to this inquiry ended up being a lot simpler than they had originally thought. Jason and Sierra were well aware that their daughter’s life revolved around boxing, so they used the premise of ‘Boxing Camp’ to ship her off to Project Untamed. And although sometimes they felt guilty for what they had done, the now-divorced Jameson-Singhs believed in their hearts they’d done the right thing. Jason’s investigation was thriving, and Sierra’s Air Force career continued to run on the fast track.

[indent][color=firebrick][i]“The tale of how I came to be is not as tragic as my brother’s, but it’s got its fair share of sob story moments. My mom and my dad knew each other since they were fourteen. They met as freshman in the halls of this very school, and they hit it off instantly. Of course, being the over-sexed teens that they were, their interactions consisted of a few hookups a month instead of anything along the lines of a proper relationship. It was during one of these hookups that I was conceived. Mom and dad got a little too drunk for their own good during a Fourth of July party thrown by my grandparents, thus ended up in one of their legendary hookups. However, in the heat of the moment, darling Father forgot to wear a condom, thus resulting in my Mom finding out she was pregnant two months later.

Mom tells me that Dad didn’t really step up at first. It took him a few months to process the information, and it was only after Uncle Alexandros had a no-bullshit talk with him that Dad realized he needed to be there. And so he was. And he’s never stopped being there for me. I was born on May 26, 2016, and my father was the first person to hold me. My parents really tried to make things work. They moved in together when mom as seven months pregnant, and for the first three years of my life tried to raise me together, as a unified family. Unfortunately, my dad’s drinking started to be a problem again. He’d attempted a rehab stint back when he was seventeen, but it had been unsuccessful. By the time I was two, they were getting into daily arguments that ended with my father sleeping on the couch with a bottle beside him while my mother lied in the bed, crying silently and only wishing he would sober up for my sake. 

After much persuasion, my father tried rehab a second time. During his time there, him and mom had a serious talk and decided that their relationship was too toxic, that it would be best for all of us if they went their separate ways. I was three when they separated, 

A year and a half after mom and dad separated, my mother gave herself a chance with my second father. His name is Jason Singh, and he had been my mom’s best friend in high school. They’d lost contact after graduation when he went away for college and she had me, but had recently reconnected while he visited town.  Now that they were older and wiser, Jay confessed to my mother that he’d always loved her, and that he would love an opportunity to make the both of us happy. After much consideration, she accepted. Thirteen years and two more kids later, they are still together and going strong.

During Daddy’s third rehab attempt, I found out I had an older brother. His mother had recently passed away from lung cancer, and it was nearly on her deathbed that the woman confessed to my father that she’d birthed his son nine years prior. Dante didn’t really like me at first. He was jealous of the relationship I had with our father, and was upset that he’d been an active part of my life and not his. Of course, once he grew up and realized that Daddy couldn’t really be present in the life of a son he didn’t even know existed, his attitude towards me changed. We’re not close by any means, but we keep a civil relationship that borders on friendly sometimes. That’s good enough for me.

Right now, I live with my mom, my stepfather, my younger brother and sister, and stay with dad on the weekends. We live in a big and comfortable house, paid for by my step dad's work (yeah, my mom married [i]Doctor Jameson Singh[/i], Ph.D in Child Psychology) and my mother’s position as Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. I drive the Rover Sport that Daddy got me for my Sweet Sixteen a few months ago. I get along with my family members. My big brother doesn’t hate me. And I get to work out to my heart’s desire.

Well, what can I say? I can’t complain. My life is good.[/i][/color][/indent]
