[u]~The Setting~[/u]
[i]You wake up disoriented and confused, a slight headache pounding behind your temples. You are meet with the sight of a empty room, its sole furniture being the very bed where you are resting. Confusion swept through you. What happened? Where are you? The only thing you remember is going about your daily-life before you suddenly hear a laugh come from behind you but before you can turn, everything goes dark. Now you're in a strange room with no recollection as to how you came to be there. Suddenly, there's a static sound and a voice fills the room.

[b]Heehee. Looks like my new toys have woken up. Good. It looks like my game can begin~ So, I have all brought you here, for reasons you need not know. Now, the rules to the game are simple. You just have to make your way to the basement of this facility and find me, but it wont be easy~ There will be many obstacles that block your way, things from your nightmares. You will need to keep your wits about you to survive my game but unfortunately some of you will likely go insane before you are able to reach the bottom. I will tell you this: the lower you go and the closer you come to reaching the basement, the challenges will grow more difficult and your limits will be put to the test. Have fun and do try not to scream too loudly, it only excites my pets all the more. TaTa~[/b]

There was a pop of static and the voice dies away. A sudden clicking sound echoes in the room and the door slowly creaks open, revealing a hallway with flickering lights.[/i]

[u]~The Plot~[/u]
A group of young teenagers have been abducted and locked inside an asylum where their sole mission is to make it to the basement of the facility with their sanity still in one piece and find their captor. The challenges are difficult: strange apparitions and ghosts wait for the group in the basement, bent on killing them and scaring them to death. And as the group makes their way lower, things grow more crazy: things start moving on their own, hallways seem to move places and it gets easier to loose your way. Can they make it to the bottom and still retain their sense of self or will they fall prey to the evil and madness waiting for them in the shadows, stalking them through the dark hallways and winding corridors? 

[u][b]Rules:[/b][/u]
1. No god modding. At ALL. If you don't know what God-Modding pertains too, ask please.
2. No arguing in the OOC whatsoever. This has happened to me before and it made me and everyone in the OOC upset so please don't do it.
3. I reserve the right to deny any CS for any reason as well as for my Co-Gm(s), if they can explain to me privately why.
4. Be reasonable. please.
5. Nothing past PG-16 for romance. It can be taken to PM's if need be.
6. Me and my Co-Gm(s) word is law. No exceptions. (If you wish to be Co-Gm, let me know. ^^)
7. If you have read these rules put "We're all mad here" somewhere in your cs, it must stand out though.
8. I reserve the right to make more rules.
9. I reserve the right to kick anyone, as well as for my Co-Gm(s) for any proven reasons.
10. Please don't post then disappear. It keeps the rp from progressing forward so please, if you have to go somewhere or wont be on for a time, let me know. please. I've seen many rp's die from this and i really don't want it to happen to this one. so please. If, and this is your first warning, if you don't post when the rp starts and you didn't let me know if you wouldn't be on for a time or something like that and you don't post whatsoever or if you post then disappear, your character will be erased and the spot reopened. I will message before i do this to give you a chance to post but if you don't then the character will be erased.

"I am very shy and kind. I can never say a bad thing about anyone. I love helping people and I will do everything I can to make them smile. I have never had a boyfriend or love interest before in my life so I am very innocent about a lot of things. I don't judge people and I can always see the good in people. If someone confides in me or tells me a secret I will take it to my grave so I guess you can say I can be very reliable. I am also honest. Even if it's something bad, I will not lie to someone, even though I will hate myself for hurting them with the truth. I can be really oblivious about a lot of things, especially when it comes to love/flirting. I also have a problem with speaking in front of a lot of people; I get so terrified I just sort of freeze in place and am unable to say anything. I guess you could also say I trust way too easily. I also get embarrassed and flustered way too easily. I can be very insecure about myself and my body and i tend to second-guess myself a lot. I can become upset very easily and am very sensitive. I can also be very clumsy and tend to trip over my own feet a lot."

William Greyson

William is a cold, stoic, and arrogant person who shows little regard to the lives of those around him. He is, more often than not, willing to leave those who slow him down behind. Despite his words, William frequently saves those around him, and even puts his own life at risk, though he does it grudgingly and openly complains. William is more or less emotionless; only anger, annoyance, and dissatisfaction showing on his face, though, rarely he will reveal a small smile but only to his sister and only if they are alone. William has a very inquiring mind when there is something he cares about, but at the same time, he has almost no tenacity of purpose. If he becomes interested in something else, he will arbitrarily turn his back on what he's doing. However, despite all of this, the one and [i]only[/i] person he will show kindness to is his younger sister Willow. He is fiercely protective of her and he will literally do anything to keep her safe. He loathes [i]anyone[/i] touching her and is very liable to break a few hands and bruise some jaws if need be.

She enjoys hurting people, meaning she'll take on the job to hurt anyone that comes her way. No matter what, she gets excited when she's in danger, that adrenaline rush she gets is like a drug to her. In front of everyone's eyes, she's the sweet girl everybody wants her to be

Stele didn't really have a good childhood. She was always bullied by those around her because her parents didn't have the money to buy the things other kids had. She was lonely and decided to create an imaginary friend to keep her company. She talks to 'it' everyday of her life, even today. She says that 'it' can be rude sometimes and actually try to hurt her. Back when she was a kid, she found herself in the strangest situation. She was at the back of the school, knife in hand and pointed directly at some other girl. She found herself staring at the little girl's frightened face. Shaking, Stele lowered her knife, dropping it to the ground. The girl ran away crying for help; Stele, in turn, looked up at 'it' and said "I hate you! I thought I could get more friends like this! You lied! Liar!" Everything was a blur after that, her memories were just mushed together.
She suddenly found herself in front of the principal with her parents sitting beside her. The principal called her various names. Some of which included, dangerous, disturbed, and the worst one was murderer. Aside from her parent's castigation, now she had to deal with a punishment from 'it.' They expelled her from the school, and she decided that she was different from everyone else. She needed to hide her real self and 'it,' at least until she needed it. Stele is just a pure innocent girl.

What began as an innocent imaginary friend turned into a different side of Stele that would take care of anything dangerous or any harm that would come to Stele. Atticus has never liked his name. His name implied a noble, manly, gentleman and that image was far from how Atticus behaves. Atticus is a quiet, withdrawn boy that lived his school days peacefully trying to get by. Although many would describe him as a plain, average joe, Atticus does have some redeeming qualities to him. He's a one track mind kind of guy; whenever he decides on something, he's willing to pull through till he makes it happen with a surprising stubbornness. Unfortunately, this barely happens since Atticus lacks any sort of motivation.

Atticus grew up in a family of males only. His mother passed away when he was young, so he never really got to know her much. He has three older brothers who seem to be better at just about everything. While his dad is a simple, straightforward guy who tries to push his youngest son to acquire some sorts of ambitions in life. However, being completely overshadowed by his older brothers' achievements, anything Atticus accomplished was never enough. This caused Atticus to withdraw and keep to mostly to himself.

Being burned alive, buried alive....almost anything that might possibly induce physical pain to him. He's a bit of a coward, ya see.

History: Phoebe never knew her parents. She was left at, and raised, in an orphanage. It is thought that her mother couldn't afford to raise her, and no one even knew anything about her father. Phoebe didn't mind growing up in the orphanage. She worked hard through school, getting good grades, and managed to receive a scholarship for collage.
