[b]Character Background[/b]: Celdoth was not always the Senator of Kwenn or the Lord of its criminal element. He started life as a street urchin, running with gangs unger the tail of one of the local Hutts. He had a knack for knowing what his superiors wanted to hear, and used that talent to climb the ladder of the underworld. The Hutt lord grew to like him and gave him command of his own gang, an arm of the Hutt’s territory. Besides the criminals he rubbed elbows with, there were also the Imperials occupying Kween and its station. He kept on their good side as well, which made his own business much easier to conduct, and that reflected well on his reputation with the Hutts. A good reputation with them meant more power for him, and he eventually became a lesser crime lord under them.

All of that changed when the Empire fell, though. The Empire left a power vacuum that was filled with the Remnant, and the Rebellion became the New Republic. Kwenn went back to the Hutts, but Celdoth saw his chance. After living under Imperial rule for so long, the Hutts’ power had dwindled just enough. He squeezed his way in, using his ex-Imperial contacts and formed his own network across different systems. Through that network he heard whispers of systems wanting neither New Republic nor Imperial Remnant rule. Using his influence and charisma he climbed his way to Senator of Kwenn. 

The Hutts tried to move in and blackmail him into being their puppet, but he had different plans. He turned most of the criminal element on the Hutts and used his Senatorial position to form task forces equipped to bring the Hutts to heel. He essentially wiped them out and became the Crime Lord of Kwenn and its station. Those in his employ as Senator also serve him in a criminal capacity. There are suspicions that he is the Crime Lord of Kwenn, but there is no proof to those claims. To the public he is Senator Celdoth Vodro, the voice for the people’s independence.

With his dual role and vast network, he reached out and contacted those whispering for something different. He and the others formed the Independent System Movement. The council of Independent Senators have been in contact with the New Republic and Imperial Remnant. There are talks of a fleet being formed to defend that independence as well a possible election for a Chairman. Rumors surround the election, rumors of Celdoth almost assuredly being nominated.

[b]Character Personality[/b]: Celdoth is a boisterous and charismatic figure. He comes off as friendly, and it’s difficult for some to not like him the more they talk with him or at least come to not outwardly hate him. Beneath this charismatic exterior, he is an expert at manipulating and reading the people around him. He can switch from charismatic and friendly to cold and unreadable. He distrusts everyone he meets, and is constantly analyzing and reading them in an attempt to figure out what they want. Celdoth got to where he is not by trusting, but by knowing how to exploit and manipulate the people he meets. He is not above blackmail or even hiring people to take out his enemies.
