Appearance: She's short at 5'2, but she has the energy of someone twice her size. It's what keeps her slim. At work she's forced to keep her long strawberry blond hair up in a bun, but lets it fall straight down to it's full collarbone length after hours. The face that is able to convince twenty somethings that Aruba is the place to be this year features eyes like the canopy of the forests of St. Lucia, lips as pink as the sky in an Antiguan sunset and skin that's usually tanned as brown as the inside of your empty wallet after you pay her to hook you up with travel to these places. The winter has lightened her skin considerably, with her having to choose between the tanning bed or her other forms of entertainment. It's still livened up with a trio of tattoos; one of her sorority running down the outside of her right leg, one of a purple wildcat on her right shoulder and one of a leaping gazelle that looked "totally cool" that night on the ribs on her left side.

At work she has a blue blazer/dress pants combo that she hates since it adds ten years in her own estimation. Her usual outfit for a night on the city scene is a black open jacket with a rotation of different blouses underneath. They used to show her midriff a lot more, but the hem line has come down since she graduated. It's completed with shorts that go halfway down her thighs and 2-inch heels.

Personality: Despite being out of school for a couple years, is still in that college mentality. Work is her new class, a means to an end, to kill time until she goes to rejoin her friends out on the Manhattan bar scene in the night hours. As such, she maintains that sort of happy-go-lucky personality that made her popular in the sorority house. She throws herself into partying and running with gusto however, and will be much more open when away from the proverbial office.

Occupation: Travel Agent at Midway USA Travel Service on North Washington St.

Biography: Emily was born in Great Bend to the southeast to Patrick and Lana, the youngest of three children. Her older sister Lori was the brains, went to Stanford and earned a doctorate in Physics. Her older brother Boyd was the brawn, recruited off the GBH Panthers seven-per-side football team to go to Texas A&M before playing in Canada. Emily was the forgotten one. She did well in school but wasn't a top student, and was an excellent track athlete, but wasn't as famous as her football playing brother. A scholarship was on offer to nearby Kansas State in Manhattan, and she took it.

During her first year, she roomed with Kelly Willis, who convinced Emily to join her in rushing at Alpha Delta Pi, one of the prominent sororities on campus. They both succeeded and spent the rest of their college tenure indulging in the pleasures of underage drinking and athletic support, both on and off the field. Emily remained a decent athlete, specializing in the 800m and 1500m distances but she was never much of a factor in Big 12 competition, not against the imported athletes schools like Texas and Nebraska were able to bring in. As such, the time spent celebrating life with her sisters was more important, right up to when she finally graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

When attending KSU, she thought at the end she would head back to Great Bend and live with her family. But as the years dragged on, she got sick of hearing her parents gush about her older siblings without offering any sort of praise. So she made plans to stay in Manhattan. But most of her sisters were heading back to their ports of call as well, with only a few willing to stay in the area. Kelly convinced her to join her in neighboring Junction City, where apartments were cheap and there was still access to the Manhattan bars. Emily agree and managed to parlay her degree into a quick job with the only travel agency in town, to earn some solid cash for a couple months while looking for a better gig. A couple months has turned into two years, and lately even her sorority sister has been looking like she wants out of the life. A steady relationship with Brandon, who she met at O'Malley's Alley has turned Kelly off of heading out, leaving Emily to meet up with the two remaining in Manhattan, Shawna and Hope, for nights out. But even Emily is starting to wonder if this current way of life has to end.

Notes: Emily is currently training for the Kansas City Marathon in October, though that training won't really pick up until the plains thaw out.[/hider]
