Yasu Minori-Schreiber
Silver Gate Academy - Library Yasu could not help but chuckle to her conversation partner's rambling about his age and state of physical growth. Apparently the boy, no, Elliot Harvinford, was only two years younger than Yasu - a bit unexpected, but at least it would seem that he ages at about the same age as a human - which agains, highlighted how brilliant the boy was in regards of his study. "Elliot.. That's a nice name," Yasu mentioned in passing as they shook hands. "Reminds me of that Poet from the United States, or was it the United Kingdom?" she continued, hoping to hook the fellow bibliophile into a common topic to talk with. Or at least not to make him think she was a clueless bimbo.. Sans the rocking body. Alas, the conversation bait was a no-go, as Elliot simply cocked his head confusedly as the reference was too niche for him to catch on to. Yasu was holding back so bad from telling him that the said poet was the person responsible for the movie Cats, too. On one hand she really want to see his reaction towards the abomination, but on the other, she was afraid she will lose way too much point for comparing him with the person that was responsible to that absurdity in the first place. Anyway, moving on! "Nice to meet you, underclassman-kun. Sadly I am not in the same year as you, and probably we won't see each other too much if at all during classes. Nevertheless, it is nice to make a new friend," replied Yasu to Elliot's announcement that he will be entering the academy after the holiday. "And as for the reason why I am enrolling here.." Yasu trailed off the end of her sentence. Surely she could not say that it's because she had this absurd dream of flying around the globe on top of a magic cardboard like a bootleg All*din. "I'm afraid it's not as interesting as yours. I was a regular off-the-shelf student before I stumble upon a book about true magic and a certain professor invited me to this academy to study it further. So let's just say I am but a child charmed by the worders of magic and wishes to pursue it?"
