How awkward it was, indeed. Here, Charlotte was, silently eating some steak with the young man she managed to convince in being the bait of-sorts. The previous events in her mind went by, like a slideshow: Her youth, her meeting with Speedwagon, her time of tending to his nearly-every need, her time of doing research for his company....and her finding of his body, on the grip of staying alive. She held his hand, pleading for him to slowly breathe, so she could call for help. But he didn't let her; just gave her the picture of Joseph and Erina, and told her to just run away, and don't look back. But then, the events after ending up in England was something she didn't expect to find in her lifetime. For some reason, Charlotte was taking momentary glances at Joseph, who sat across from her. The man must be going through a cascade of emotions right now; the primary ones being anger or sorrow. At the same tine, it was his very determination to find out what happened to Robert, that sparked a kind of inspiration within the woman, that made her convinced that they could find out for themselves. It was quite inspiring, really -- minus the fact that the both of them just walked out of a fist fight in a public restaurant, not too long ago. Charlotte didn't really expect herself to be showing that side of her, but somehow, a person's lack of manners really irked her. Like a trigger. How Charlotte seems so vulnerable, right now, just seems almost a bit out of character, from the Charlotte back then. Her thoughts were caught off, once the Englishman gestured for her to follow, maybe his lead? Looking to where he was looking, it was a rather medium-sized man in the shadows with long dark hair. Was this the man they were meant to pursue? Was this Straizo? The fangs and red eyes were a dead-giveaway to something vampiric. Robert's story suddenly came back to her. 'Pointed teeth and eyes, red of the devil himself', she remembered. It was the perfect comparison. "You must be Straizo. Is that right?", she questioned the figure.
