Bit of a loaded question, but how does DEX play into a manual combat player's fighting ability? Does it actually affect their in-game skill in some way, or does it work more like game stats where your chance of hitting is calculated partly by stats and not taking into account your prior skill?

I guess a good example for my question is what would the difference be between an average Joe with a bow and like 8934589342573245 DEX against someone who happens to be an Olympian gold medalist archer with like below average DEX, assuming they're both playing Manual?
