Hello, first off I'd like to say thank you for joining my Rp! I've been having this idea for a good while now and have finally decided to act on it. The setting of this Rp will wake place in a Parallel universe of Tokyo Ghoul Re: Kaneki is still Haise Sasaki and the Quinx squad is still all together. The exact place the rp takes place in though is the city of Tokyo Japan. The plot of the rp goes as follows , your character is a dangerous half ghoul either by synthetic means such as organ transfer or naturally through a human and a ghoul parent combination. Our characters used to be wanted by the CCG but after the success of the ghoul Haise sasaki and his Quinx squad the CCG has decided to make a second one, more used for secret operations and city patrol. Our characters will have had lost their memory and been brainwashed/reprogrammed by the CCG into believing themselves new investigators of the CCG. Though secret rules have been put in place , the members of Squad Ghul will be treated as human unless a situation occurs in which one of them loses control then in which they will be treated as a ghoul and subduded. Ghoul information:
Description: Ghouls (喰種グール, gūru, translates approximately to eater species) are a carnivorous and cannibalistic humanoid species that are only able to feed on the flesh of humans and other ghouls. They are as close to humans as possible: they normally display the same attributes; the same physical appearance and intelligence as a human with the main exception being their inner biology, mentality, and diet. If certain rare conditions are met, ghouls and humans may even be able to have offspring (see one-eyed ghoul and half-human), and through a successful kakuhou transplant surgery, an artificial hybrid can be created. By using airborne-transmitted diseases like those utilized by Furuta Washuu, the condition known as ROS (an overload of RC cells) can lead to artificial ghoulification. Diet: A ghoul can only feed on humans and other ghouls. They are unable to digest any other type of food due to a particular enzyme their bodies produce. The structure of their tongues is also different from humans', making other foods taste disgusting and uncomfortable. If ghouls attempt to eat normal food, they will be struck by a powerful urge to vomit. When forced or forcing themselves to digest such food, their physical condition will deteriorate. While ghouls cannot eat normal food, they are, however, able to drink coffee(and eat the beans) , as well as regular drinking water. Ghouls do not need to eat regularly like humans do. They can survive for one or two months on just one body. However, some ghouls eat merely for pleasure. When a ghoul enters an extreme state of hunger, they will suffer very painful headaches and their mental ability will be impaired, causing them to become driven by instinct alone. They will feed on any available source of human meat to end this state, even that of close friends.I Biology: Ghouls have a high physical capability and are four to seven times stronger than the average human: they are able to send the average human flying if struck with enough force[6], and can penetrate a human's body with their bare hands.[7] They are also capable of jumping to heights not achievable by a regular human.[8] Their bodies are extremely resistant to injury. For example, if a ghoul were to be stabbed with a knife, the blade would break instead, suffering a small scratch that heals almost instantly.[9] However, higher kinetic forces, such as a fall from a great height, can and will harm them. Ghoul senses are much keener than those of humans. They can smell people or meat from afar[8][4] and tell humans and ghouls apart by their scent.[10][11] They also have a heightened sense of hearing that even allows some ghouls to discern individual footsteps far away.[11] The origin of these aspects of ghoul biology and the origin of ghouls in general is unknown. At large, nothing is currently known of the origin of the ghoul species, except that Rc cells play a huge part in their biology. Ghouls have an Rc factor ten times higher than that of a human.[12] If the average healthy human has about 200-500 Rc level, then the ghoul has about 1000-8000 Rc level.[13] They possess an organ known as the kakuhou, from which Rc cells harden and break through the skin to form the kagune. The kagune is a hard, muscle-like protrusion described as their claws. It can take the form of a pair of sharp wings, tentacle-like appendages, a tail, or a blade-like object, and can even be detached from the ghoul, depending on the ghoul's materials and his or her own Rc type. It is possible for a ghoul to develop another, typically armor-like kagune as part of the mutation caused by excessive cannibalism. Ghouls also have an identifying feature known as a kakugan, an affliction manifesting in the eyes as red irises surrounded by a black sclera. A ghoul's kakugan can appear either by their own will, due to hunger, or when using their kagune. Ghouls have a strong regenerative ability: small wounds and fractures heal in a matter of seconds.[14] Larger wounds take longer to heal, but will usually vanish after a few days, as long as the ghoul has access to an adequate food supply. Ghouls have been shown to regain their strength and heal wounds almost immediately after consuming a small amount of flesh, suggesting that they can quickly metabolize their food to boost their regeneration. This regenerative ability varies among individuals, with some ghouls exhibiting the ability to reattach severed body parts or regrow detached limbs. In extreme cases of regenerative ability, some powerful ghouls can even heal severe brain injuries, reattach their severed head or upper body, and regrow large sections of their bodies. Ghouls prefer to consume human flesh, but it is not uncommon for them to cannibalize one another. Ghoul tissue is considered coarse and disgusting, but it has the merits of providing an alternative food source. Furthermore, cannibalism increases a ghoul's Rc levels to the point of mutation, increasing their kagune's overall power. Occasionally, cannibalistic ghouls gain through this mutation an armor-like kagune alongside the predatory kagune that ghouls commonly possess, turning them into kakujas.[15] In extremely rare cases, a ghoul whose parents possess different Rc types will inherit both from their parents. This results in a ghoul that possesses a kakuhou in more than one location and is able to use two different types of kagune, a chimera kagune. Though powerful and durable predators, ghouls are still far from immortal. Despite their superior physical status, ghouls age at the same rate as humans. All ghouls, though resistant to damage from man-made objects, are vulnerable to damage or modifications made to their mucous membranes, such as nostrils, eyes, ears, and lips.[16] Generally, a ghoul will die if it suffers massive trauma that proves fatal before its innate healing ability can stabilize its condition. The most damage that can be inflicted to a ghoul usually comes from other ghouls, as they have the physical strength and the use of their kagune that can deal heavy damage to a ghoul. However, they are also vulnerable to quinques and Q bullets, which can injure a ghoul effectively due to the nature of such weapons as products of a harvested kagune. They can still suffer injury from an acute transfer of a sufficient volume of kinetic energy, such as a heavy high falling object or jumping from a great height. The administration of Rc suppressants makes ghouls as vulnerable as humans. Half Ghouls A one-eyed ghoul (隻眼の喰種, sekigan no gūru), also called half-ghoul (半喰種, han-gūru) is a human-ghoul hybrid who possesses a ghoul's abilities. Most ghouls treat their existence as an urban legend or have never heard of their existence at all. Characteristics: One-eyed ghouls earn their name from the single kakugan they possess, in contrast to normal ghouls. In all other ways, they appear to have no obvious differences from an ordinary ghoul. Some individuals are noted to have a unique scent that combines traits of a human and a ghoul, identifying them as different and often considered "enticing" by certain ghouls. Ken Kaneki has been shown to smell like a ghoul by some individuals whereas some cannot tell the difference, and Eto has been shown to smell like a human so far. It is unknown whether all hybrids have this trait. Their flesh and blood is also noted to be particularly delicious, making them a potential target for cannibalism. Dr.Shiba claims that the more half-ghouls and Quinx get hurt, the more their basic abilities will increase. Rumours state that hybrids are more powerful than ordinary ghouls due to hybrid vigor, though it has not been further elaborated on. All specimens (except Furuta and Nashiro) have demonstrated radical evolution of their abilities and developed into, sometimes partial, kakujas within a short period of time. Physically, their bodies are identical to that of a ghoul with the same resistance to harm and ability to use a kagune. Artificial one-eyed ghouls can only consume flesh of human or ghoul origin like normal ghouls and thus they are strictly a cannibalistic organism. Natural one-eyed ghouls like Eto are able to taste and consume human food without negative effects. Hybrids come into existence through two methods, either normally born as a result of the union between a ghoul and a human, or through transplanting a kakuhou into a human host. Origins: Pregnancy: Naturally-born hybrids born with ghoul abilities are extremely rare. According to Itori, the chance of pregnancy is low, and even if the mother becomes pregnant, the child normally dies during pregnancy.(can only be a ghoul mother and human father , mother must eat human food to weaken herself so the baby does not die). Kakuhou Transplant: The primary method of creating one-eyed ghouls is through transplanting a kakuhou into a human recipient, an exceptionally high-risk procedure. In the rare event that the operation is successful, the human patient develops into an artificial hybrid with all the abilities of a normal ghoul.
Kagune and kakuja information:
Description: A kagune (赫子, red child) is a ghoul's predatory organ and functions as their weapon and claws. It is usually as red as blood (the colors are varied in the anime to distinguish the kagune of each individual), flexible like the flow of water, but firm and sturdy. When released, a ghoul's physique is strengthened, they are more resilient, and their mobility heightens. A kagune is composed of Rc cells, which flow just like blood, can become as solid as teeth and can be described as "liquid muscles." The Rc cells are released from a kakuhou piercing the skin, and the released Rc cells form the kagune. The kagune are voluntary muscles as ghouls can control them whenever they want and repeatedly harden and soften them at will. Kagune size depend on the Rc cells' quality and quantity while the shape depends on the creativity and intellect of the user.[1] Although a ghoul's healing ability is high, the healing of wounds tends to be delayed if the wounds are inflicted by a kagune. It is also evident that in order to counter a kagune in battle, one must also have a kagune, if not, at least something in relation to a kagune. Hence, ghoul investigators use kagune-based quinque as a tactical means to battle against ghouls. Formation: Research conducted by the CCG Laboratory Division resulted in identifying three stages of kagune formation. At their current knowledge, the stages are the same for every ghoul capable of manifesting kagune. Formative Stage At the point base of the kagune where the Rc cells erupt from the kakuhou, the erupted Rc cells will form bonds with each other. They will organize themselves in the structure best fit for their Rc type in a repeated web. This repeated action of the cells will occur instantaneously and lead to the next stage. Fixative Stage The bonded Rc cells will retain the resulted form for a fixed length of time. The basic shape of the kagune is seen at this stage. During this time, the defensive and offensive capabilities and weaknesses will take on their respective properties to the ghoul's Rc type. The manifested kagune's appearance is usually hereditary, taking on the shape and characteristics of their genetic predecessors, additionally, kagune size also depends on the Rc cells' quality and quantity while the shape depends on the creativity and intellect of the user. In relation to this stage is the user's manual control of the kagune's movement and actions, which can include crystallization and increase in length, dexterity, sharpness, and concentration. Disintegrative Stage After time has elapsed, the bonds between the cells begin to break apart. At this point, the kagune loses its solidity and deteriorates. Kagune Types: The kagune's appearance and the place of emergence on the body depend on the Rc type of the ghoul. There are four different Rc types: ukaku, koukaku, rinkaku, and bikaku. As a guideline, each type can characteristically subdue another type, although it may be different for two specific opponents. Each Rc type has a set of strengths and weaknesses, each one unique to its type. These are exploited by the CCG in the creation of the quinque and Q bullets. Ukaku: An ukaku kagune (羽赫, ukaku, "feather-red") is spread out like feathers and is released from the shoulder area, it specializes in high speed attacks, most of the users seeming to have highly enhanced speed. The kagune is lightweight and can be used to deliver high-speed attacks against an adversary, the primary method of attack is crystallizing their kagune to deliver a high speed torrent of spike-like projectiles, however whilst crystallized they are much stiffer and cannot be used for short range combat; at least one ukaku-type can generate powerful lightning-like bolts, a possible rare ability. While the kagune is suited both for short-distance and long-distance attacks, short-range is considered their weakness.[2] They may use their kagune as a shield and several are capable of shaping them into sharp blades reminiscent of a koukaku to aid in close quarters. Many ukaku-types are able to increase the flexibility of their kagune for short-range combat, though this makes it ill-suited for their distinctive long-range attacks. Altogether ukaku-type ghouls have a high chance of ending a battle quickly as releasing Rc cells depletes stamina. Thus, ukaku-type users lack endurance and are at a disadvantage if the battle drags on for a long time. Ukaku-type users can use their speed and mobility to shoot down bikaku-type users from afar. However, a koukaku-type user can suppress an ukaku-type user by successfully guarding against the ukaku-type user's attacks, leaving them vulnerable to counterattacks and exhausting the ukaku-type user in the long run. koukaku: A koukaku kagune (甲赫, kōkaku, "shell-red") is released below the shoulder blade. Due to its high density of Rc cells, it is heavy and extremely robust, giving it the greatest sturdiness and making them very well suited for defense. Normally, they are generally shaped into armors or shields, but on the offense, they can be shaped like melee weapons such as drills, hammers, blades, and swords. Due to its high weight, a koukaku's speed is inferior to all other Rc types and the kagune is difficult to wield. A koukaku can fend off an ukaku onslaught using its guarding capabilities. However, a rinkaku kagune can deliver severe strikes against the slow koukaku, breaking their kagune and breaching their defenses. Rinkaku: A rinkaku kagune (鱗赫, rinkaku, Demon Tails "scale-red") has an appearance similar to scaled tentacles and is released at the back around the waist. A rinkaku wielder has powerful regenerative abilities and some could even survive the most critical of damage. Its peculiar appearance and structure yield a superior striking power and they excel in brute strength. Some rinkaku users are able to manipulate the shape of their kagune, such as changing its usual tentacle form into swords or claws. This type's regenerative power is a result of the Rc cells easily binding together. Their Rc cells are similar to liquid. However, this means that the binding force among the Rc cells are weak, therefore making the kagune very soft and easy to break. But because their Rc cells bind so easily, some rinkaku can bind their multiple tentacle-like kagune together to make a larger, stronger kagune. So far the number of tentacles that rinkaku users can create are from one to eight tentacles. A rinkaku kagune can deliver severe strikes against the slow koukaku, penetrating the kagune and breaching the koukaku's defenses. However, a rinkaku has serious problems fighting against the balanced bikaku kagune: A bikaku has comprehensively high power, allowing them to fight against the brute-force rinkaku, and the rinkaku kagune softness makes it comparatively easy for the bikaku to cut the kagune off. This disarms a rinkaku no matter how much strength it may possess, leaving the rinkaku at a disadvantage on the defensive. It has been shown that in some cases, a bikaku attack can disable a rinkaku's regeneration.[3] Bikaku: A bikaku kagune (尾赫, bikaku, Fish Tail "tail-red") typically has a tail-like appearance and is released around the tail-bone/coccyx. It is good for medium-distance attacks and has decent offense, defense, and speed. Thus, they have no notable strengths or weaknesses like the kagune based on other Rc types, meaning the kagune itself is treated as a surprise "trump card." The number of tails a bikaku user can create is usally one, but some can create more. A bikaku has better speed and durability against the brute-force, breakable rinkaku, allowing them to cut off the rinkaku's kagune. However, a bikaku will be overwhelmed by the faster ukaku-user and will lose against the ukaku's long-range attacks. The balanced characteristics makes the kagune a preferred quinque type for inexperienced investigators.

Description: A Kakuja (赫者, red one[1], kakuja) is a kind of ghoul with a transformed kagune that clads the ghoul's body. Though it is rare, it can occur through repeated cannibalism. When a ward has a higher ghoul to human ratio, cannibalism is more common due to turf wars and limited food supply. Sometimes, the transformation is incomplete, and such individuals are called half-kakujas (半赫者, han kakuja). It is said that through cannibalism, a ghoul absorbs Rc cells, and this increases the concentration of Rc cells within a ghoul's body. If the concentration becomes high enough, it may trigger a mutation and lead to the formation of a new kagune. A kakuja can further evolve by continuing to cannibalize their kind. For instance, while the One-Eyed Owl had a human-shape and size before its disappearance, it eventually developed into a much larger and monstrous form during the Owl Suppression Operation in the 20th ward. The transformation seems to be affected by psychological factors as Ken Kaneki's kakuja kagune takes the form of a centipede, resembling the Red-headed Chinese Centipede Yakumo Oomori used to torture Kaneki by putting it in his ear. In addition, Kaneki compares himself to Gregor Samsa, the protagonist of the novel The Metamorphosis who turned into an insect-like creature, all while picturing a centipede in his mind. Yoshimura's kakuja mask also grew to resemble the One-Eyed Owl's mask, with the former holding the desire to keep attention towards himself and away from the latter for personal reasons. It should be noted that members of the Tsukiyama family have a birth defect where cannibalism has little to no chance of triggering this mutation in their Rc cells due to consanguineous marriages, thereby preventing kakuja mutations. Powers: Apart from the predatory kagune ghouls commonly possess, a kakuja has a special kagune that clads the ghoul's body and functions like an armor. The kagune amplifies the kakuja's strength or diversifies their abilities, which makes fighting one of them especially hard. However, using a kakuja kagune is nearly impossible because most users tend to lose their minds while fighting with it.[2] It is unknown why some ghouls are able to remain sane and others are not. One reason may be that all unstable/insane ghouls using kakuja are half/incomplete as full kakuja are not observed to have any problems maintaining control. It appears that a kakuja kagune can form a mask over the user's face if need be.
Ghoul Rating information:
Ratings (レート, rēto) are a system used by the Commission of Counter Ghoul to classify ghouls with respect to their perceived individual ability and threat level. Definition: Ghouls are rated based upon various factors, including their basic strengths, activity levels, influence and hostility towards investigators. In modern-day, there are six rating levels, from SSS (the most powerful) to C (the weakest). In some cases, a tilde (~) is added to the base rating. This indicates that the ghoul is estimated to be at least that strong, but the rating may change once more is known about the subject. Originally, ghouls were designated degrees, the CCG converted from this system to using the degrees' rating equivalents — e.g. a "special third degree" (特三度, Toku san do) threat became an "SSS" rated ghoul.[1] Rating Assessment Criteria The rating of a ghoul is set through evaluation of the ghoul's individual ability. The following criteria are employed to determine the rating according to their individual ability:[2] SSS rated Criteria is unclear. SS rated Multiple Special Class Investigators are needed. S+ rated Equivalent to the ability of an average Special Class Investigator. (approx.) S- rated Equivalent to the ability of an average Associate Special Class Investigator. (approx.) A rated Comparable to a First Class Investigator. These ghouls are usually set as a target and some ghouls might develop a second tail/tentacle. B rated Comparable to a Rank 1 to Rank 3 Investigator. These ghouls should have their Kagune mastered and are usually a small threat to the CCG. C rated Ghouls of smaller ability, these ghouls usually can't fight any ghoul investigators and only attack unarmed humans. In addition to the ghoul's individual ability, the actual damage caused by the ghoul is also evaluated. The rating is set in consideration of the predation and killing incidents committed by the ghoul. For some ghouls, their influence over other ghouls is also taken into account when ratings are given.[3]
Information on the CCG and Quinque: CCG-The Commission of Counter Ghoul [sic] (喰種対策局 Gūru Taisaku Kyoku, literally "Ghoul Countermeasures Bureau"), usually abbreviated as CCG, is a federal agency in the Tokyo Ghoul series that serves as a criminal investigative body in cases connected to ghouls. The Ghoul Countermeasures Law was the legal foundation for the CCG's prosecution of ghouls. The CCG's headquarters are in the 1st ward. The ghouls commonly call the ghoul investigators Doves (白鳩, Hato), a nickname originating from the CCG's seal.
Description: A quinque (クインケ, kuinke) is a weapon manufactured from a ghoul's kakuhou used by CCG ghoul investigators.[1] Invented by Adam Gehner and Yoshiu Washuu,[2] quinque emit electrical signals that stimulate the kakuhou to release and control it. They can be made into some type of melee or ranged weapon, but most retain a few characteristics from the original kagune. In contrast to kagune, quinque cannot change shape nor store or absorb Rc cells other than what was harvested from the ghoul it was made from. Preceding the quinque, the CCG had been using firearms to combat ghouls and needing a more efficient tool, they began intensive research that resulted in its creation. Made solely to exterminate ghouls, quinque were considered the new generation of technology, promptly and effectively raising the extermination rate. Ghoul investigators transport them in bags or suitcases to store the kakuhou. However, only Rank 2 ghoul investigators and up are permitted to use quinque. Some investigators are known to collect quinque and others aspire to master their use. To attain a quinque, an investigator must first confirm their target's Rc type before exterminating them. Afterwards, it is common to name the quinque from the ghoul's name or alias (e.g., Noyama). Special Quinque Types: Chimera Quinque: In rare cases, a quinque can also be fused from ghouls with chimera kagune, or multiple kagunes. The most notable of these chimeras belongs to Akira Mado named Amatsu, it functions with combined koukaku and bikaku styles as one effective weapon. It can also be made possible when the ghoul in question naturally possesses two Rc types, as in the cases of Nutcracker and Hinami Fueguchi. Chimera quinque are useful for opposing multiple types of ghouls, though it is unknown if any combination of Rc types is possible or can occur naturally as chimera ghouls are extremely rare and the technical difficulties of fusing two Rc types together means that very few are capable of being used in the field.[3] Kakuja Quinque: Kakuja quinques are a special type of quinque created from ghouls that have cannibalized and evolved a mutated kagune, becoming a kakuja. It has been commonly shown to function as armor; protecting and enhancing the capabilities of the user by stimulating their body while equipped. So far, it seems to not be sustainable for long since the quinque comes with the drawback of slowly biting into its user the longer it is maintained and feeds off the wearer's vigor in order to conserve energy. Despite the vast majority of kakuja quinques taking the form of armor, there have been several instances in which kakuja quinques have taken more offensive forms such as blades. Aside from being potent melee weapons, these quinques retain special traits of the original kakuja, such as ranged projectiles, detachment, advanced kagune formation, and remote activation.
