Considering how they had been carrying a momentarily disabled ally and were looking for a method to heal them, the chance of them stabbing Locke in the back was low. Though, Locke wouldn't perish the thought of such an action. The lowborn were not beholden to the same standards as his own people. If they truly came in peace, Locke wouldn't attack. He didn't want to put the effort into another fight. His goal was to stay alive throughout this. Not much more. With the elf with fat sacks asking for aid for their disabled friend, Locke didn't really care to help them. Artemisia offered, so the noble/merchant would do it herself. Locke had no interest in wasting his magic on another. What was more interesting to him was the being that came with them. Unlike the unconscious knight-man, the massive leather-wearing lizard, and the fat elf, he couldn't exactly see the being with perfect clarity. Like the fairies that he commanded, it too was a being seeped with magic. That meant that another was likely a summoner. Considering how the knight-type was unconscious and the massive lizard was... well... It meant that only one who could summon such a being was the elf with the inflated chest. He was obviously interested in such a being. Not the elf, of course. She could go away forever for all Locke cared. No, the statuesque summon was what he wanted to know more about. For now, he'd bide his time. His interest didn't quite extend enough to run up to the fat-filled elf and ask her about what exactly that being behind her was. Maybe when he was safely back inside of one of those filthy rats nests they called inns, but not now.
