Äsdis is a strong-willed young woman who seems cold and is often vindictive to those who wrong her, she has learned to adapt and improvise to her surroundings. She is seen as being reserved, if slightly angry but knows that things cannot be rushed but when they need to be, Äsdis can possess a sense of urgency, often being persistent and going to extreme lengths to survive.
 
Though helping them achieve certain... Ambitions is another matter for her, if she doesn't like something, she won't hesitate to let you know and sometimes may come of cold or to the point when doing so. Because of that people may believe she is a short tempered woman, But the truth is yes, she is.

Her brother has tried to inspire Cara to become more open, she is still working on that. Äsdis is very sarcastic, and also has a sense of humour about beliefs that she finds contradictory to her nature. She of course loves to drink and has a thirst to prove herself in battle, happy to bring the battle from afar or right into the thick of it.

Äsdis was born and raised in the village of Äälborg. Her parents Skärd and Sigrid, her father a hunter while  Sigrid was a shield maiden. For many years while growing up, her father spend many a time around his hunting teaching Äsdis the use of a hunting bow until she was in his eyes good enough with it to take her on hunts. Her mother, a renowned shield maiden saw it in her daughter's eyes when she began telling her to story of her glorious and daring raids using the pair of axes that Äsdis now utilises, it was a combination desire and passion to want to wield such weapons and her mind was set on what she wanted to be.

She would have a lot to live up to for her mother is a well known a formidable maiden from her time raiding, coming from a line of succession of maiden's, the pressure will be on Äsdis to make her parents proud. Armed with her axes and hunting bow, after her training, Äsdis is ready to go forth and prvoe herself after catching word of raids.

Her main weapons are a pair of Axes she prefers to duels wield and a hunting bow to deal with enemies from afar with a hip mounted quiver holding twenty arrows and a seax.
