Runa instantly felt wary and crowded as a brunette came up to her, welcoming her to... wherever she was, Summerland or something else entirely. The dark haired woman holding her spoke in Norwegian, which helped to reassure her slightly, but it didn't make her any less overwhelmed. A man with a warty face, wild beard, and a bellhop's uniform came over to her and gave her the name of this place - Hotel Valhalla. Her mind was buzzing, making it difficult to focus. Another person came up to her - she was really feeling incredibly flustered and cornered with everyone coming up to her at once - in a green suit with untamed hair almost like a lion's mane. The words Ragnarok and Valhalla kept buzzing around in her head, as she tried to remember what they referred to. Everything here was norse - originating from her homeland of Norway. It finally clicked. Ragnarok was the death and rebirth of the world, the twilight of the norse gods. And Valhalla - or Hotel Valhalla - was what she thought of as the Summerland, the afterlife, home to the Vikings. "Jeg er Runa... Sorry, my name is Runa," she said quietly, switching to English. Her accent was rather faint. Her legs felt like jelly as she walked over with the others - Nadia, the brunette, and Hunding. Nadia's explanation matched most of what she knew from Wicca - that Valhalla was where Odin's army lived until the twilight of Ragnarok. It didn't make sense to her that it was a hotel, although she couldn't really imagine an alternative for it. The giant's words echoed harshly through her mind again - they had called her a child of Balder. She decided to keep that information to herself for now. In the elevator, she moved into the back corner, trying to carve out a bit of personal space. "... Why me?" she then asked softly. She didn't understand how she was worthy of being a part of Odin's army.
