Though unless you really counted the House of M reality, he was a bit guilty for not really at least trying to talk to Ben. That made him feel a bit bad, considering the fact that when he thought about it, it must have been incredibly lonely for Ben, since he only ever was really able to talk to Casper. He also was glad that Casper and Ben both had agreed with his assessment regarding how the whole ghost thing worked. At least he had been paying some attention to how Casper's powers worked. Then came Sunshine's outburst, and Jack was a bit surprised by it, but not for the reason that most people would think. It wasn't the fact that Sunshine had started screaming at people (especially Casper) and then proceeded to make Casper sick, but it was the fact that her anger didn't even seem to be directed towards his brother. Oh no, her anger seemed directed towards him. All he could really figure out was that she seemed to be projecting her abandonement issues (which seemed to be partially in play at this point) at him, as if he was the one who had abandoned her. Problem is, that didn't make any sense to him. "...Sunshine, why are you mad at me? I know you were yelling at Casper but, why does it seem like your anger is directed at me?"

Sapphire

Location: Old Hideout Skills N/A

Now, to be fair, Sapphire wasn't exactly in the best emotional state (helloooooo she broke down in tears not too long ago) but Max was seemingly a dumb person, but she could understand a few viewpoints he was coming from. However, Callie definitely had a few points regarding everything. Though it wasn't those words that really made her mad, it was the fact that Max assumed that she was going to kill him. Not just kill him though, kill him the exact same way she had killed Polaris in the House of M reality. Her mind started swirling as she started sorting through everything from that reality, and she found that she wasn't really feeling her typical self, she actually felt like crying again, despite the fact that she was surrounded by several people at this point. "...You do realize that I never once actually hated you right? Sure, I didn't trust you, I don't trust anyone unless they give me a chance to. You remember the chaos after you accidentally killed the cops? I defended you, saying that things like that happen to everyone despite the fact that I didn't trust you! Oh, yeah, I hated Leighton, still do, did you ever think to ask why? Or did you think that I was just pissed off at her damn existence as a rich girl who clearly loves money and power more then anything as she has seemingly proven! Oh no, reason I hated her was because when I first met her she acted like almost accidentally killing someone was a damn joke! If you want to be hero, there are a whole bunch of hero teams out there you could be on, hell if you wanted a corporation funded one where you get paid to be there I would have sent you towards X-Factor! Oh, and guess what? I will never kill someone on purpose, accident hell yeah, that happens to me a lot more then you could possibly think, so how about you cut the crap. If you want to make a difference for mutants then join the damn X-Men, not the people who clearly want at least the entire Underground it seems, dead!" she snapped, before she more or less turned away from the group, not all too thrilled by what he was saying. "No, you are no hero, since you instantly decided to leave because of the actions of more or less one person and join the group that tried to kill us, and probably numerous others, without a second thought. Give one damn good explanation about how that is being a hero."
