"I'm Caleb, sir. Caleb Crowsnest. It's nice to meet you." The apple was lowered to the boy's side and received sniffs from Ribbon in response. The dog would eat anything that was put in front of her, including apples, but only when given permission. She was well-trained by her previous owner from the looks of it. "This is Rainbow, Ribbon, and Flower. We're the crew of The Eagle's Deliverance. We're trying to find our way to a skeleton doctor." "A skeleton doctor? I've never heard of such a thing before." There was an airy chuckle from the hippocampus. In spite of this, however, Rainbow shot an uneasy glance towards his traveling companion. This was better than trying to stop Caleb and his sword from going overboard at least. They would have a chat about sharing supplies later though. He understood that Caleb was trying to act nobly, as a knight would, but there was no denying that they needed that food too. What would happen if they were stuck floating adrift for another month? "You land-dwellers are very funny with your names and titles. I never grow tired of listening to your stories. Perhaps we could make a deal! Let me listen to your stories and I'll safely show you a way to land." "You would be willing to do that for us?!" The story of the Elder Eagle and Prince Hector immediately came to mind. It was always one of Caleb's personal favorite stories and it was interesting enough to tell a stranger. A little humorous to imagine that this would be his ticket out of danger. One that looked to be very appealing as black clouds gave way to a burst of lightning somewhere off in the distance. "Well. . I'm from a small village known as Eaglestown. I was born and raised there though I don't really remember my parents. Something happened to them when I was young, but that's okay! I had plenty of friends and adults in my life. One of them was the Elder Eagle. . ." Rainbow zoned out from the conversation as he reached for the boat's rudder and watched the storm on the horizon. It was getting worse and yet the hippocampus was beginning to swim away. Edward was at least keeping a slow pace for right now though he seemed to be leading them closer to the storm. Maybe that was only based on Rainbow's perspective, but he was still silent and looked to be uneasy as The Eagle's Deliverance took off behind its new friend.
