Well, let’s backtrack. He is someone with an inquisitive mind, and his appetite for knowing things knows no equal. He is always willing to pay attention to those willing to tell him stories. On the equal, opposite side of this coin, his gluttony for knowledge also leads him into asking questions. He is the very embodiment that tests the theory of “is there such a thing as a stupid question?” He has a love for adventure too, which also stems from his time as a child, exploring areas of his village that may or may not have been too dangerous for him to go to alone. This again ties into his curiosity and he often will go in it alone. He is always down for going into the dark cave or creepy forest. Will this break rules? Maybe, but part of him doesn’t care. Part of him likes risk. With no risk, life would be pretty boring.
history.
Throughout his entire life, Caelum was told the tales of the Miracle Seven and the vast city of Avalice and the Academy of Might and Magic. His father, who was once a student and someone in the running of the legendary group (though a few mishaps led to utter failure) told him of all of his adventures and how the stories he repeated back to his son didn’t do it justice. Caelum was told of the monsters his father fought, the lessons he underwent, the number of hours spent honing his magic - all of it was done so and yet… And yet, though Caelum wouldn’t know it until years later, his father’s stories weren’t told with pride but shame. It was a shame that forced him to a small village far out in the countryside where the most adventurous thing that happened were the gatherings of wild boars in the fields near the village. Despite how his father felt about his failures, Caelum looked up to his father. In this life where your greatest achievements aren’t defined by what you did but what you keep on doing in the face of adversity, Caelum’s father, once a powerful mage by the name of Vento who commanded wind, soon found his purpose — his legacy — one fateful day. As rain poured down on the village of Valore, clouds gathered and lightning began to strike upon the fields and trees, setting everything ablaze. The fire spread and panic soon followed, but it was one house that sat upon a tall hill that remained unharmed and protected by a brilliant light. This light warded off even the rain. After it was all said and done, when the village was in ruins and Vento and Caelum walked out unharmed, though confusion was one of the first emotions to come after the terror of their home destroyed, a shining beacon of hope presented itself in the aura that surrounded Caelum. Brilliant and ethereal, his body was covered in a cloudy mana aura, hovering around him like a cloud over the sun. Sparks of green electricity, even if it was just for a split second, flashed in his olive eyes. And in that moment, when Vento had all but given up on life but his son, his own fire awakened in his son. And for eleven years, as time went on and Caelum grew into a young man, by the age of fourteen, he had gone from a young boy with all of the magic potentials in the world to a trained young man with skills and a genuine lust for knowledge that his father, who finally caved in after falling ill just five months ago, possessed. Caelum spent a couple of years traveling the lands. He possessed the skills to last on his own on the road but he knew where he was going. His father had told him of the place when he was younger: The Academy of Might and Magic. A wonderful place his father told him about and he had every intention of becoming a student. He would make his father proud. No matter what it took, Caelum Tempesta would do what his father could not. He would become a Miracle Seven. As it cackles, by swinging it in whichever way he needs to, a thin, yet powerful slice of lightning is hurled at an opponent. It is capable of stunning them for several moments. Surging Shock Caelum stabs his Stormbringer into the ground. By placing one hand on the top of the hilt and the other on the ground, he simultaneously channels his mana through the ground and his sword, creating a fissure-like effect on said ground and it explodes in a 6-foot geyser of blue-green lightning, aiming to hit anything within its path of destruction. Maelstrom Barrage As Caelum rapidly slashes at an opponent with his mana-infused blade, short bursts of wind and electricity follows almost immediately. He keeps this up for twelve slashes and finishes it with a final, charged downward vertical slash that sends a concentrated blast of electricity into whatever it touches.
