Kai wasn’t really much for talking about that kind of stuff and the food talk was definitely distracting, his mind barely able to concentrate on looking for the monster at this point. Giving a look to Takeshi he shrugged, letting out a sigh, “You say that, then you forget about how you acted when you were working with us all those weeks ago before you found your brother”, he spoke, hardly too fussed by the thought of it and was simply saying it to tease him, “No big deal though. You’ll soon learn nobody likes loners and that you’ll want to join the pack as we tear into our foes mercilessly”. Choi did wonder when they’d end up eating finally, seeing as how they needed to get the ship out of there and make sure it wasn’t sending out signals to the Kingdom before they could feel safe. The King wouldn’t want to damage the ship too much considering it was expensive, but they were still at risk of being attacked and captured by entire fleets. Letting out a sigh, the thought of food quickly consumed him again and he smiled, scratching his stomach, “That’d certainly be something…well; hopefully it’s made of meat and not something like metal! I can’t say I enjoy eating metal at all”, he spoke, shrugging a little, “I gotta say, this whole thing is starting to sound pretty good to me…” With Takeshi protesting about their talk about food, the whole conversation was probably best to be dropped ending with Choi letting out a sigh. He wasn’t so hungry that he was weak, but the whole talk was definitely making him a whole lot hungrier and was still pretty much having to focus on finding this monster. Giving Kai a quick glance before he looked around, he frowned a little when Takeshi came to a halt, giving him an odd look, “Hear? You sure it wasn’t your stomach?” he asked before snickering, ending with a sigh, “Ahhhh but no seriously, where do you think you heard it? I think I’m still too busy thinking about eating a good meal”. Daiko was happy that somebody was interested in one of his sons, even if it would end in a friendship. It was hard for Saiyans to make friends, especially ones of pureblood when their senses would often overtake them and feeling love and friendship for another being was rare. It was definitely something found in the lower classed Saiyans and as much as he hated to admit his kids were low class, they had better social skills because of it and would be seen as less brutish. Maybe Kai as well would be able to figure out how to be social too, seeing as how he didn’t hold much trust in others when compared to his brother. Giving a little nod, Daiko smiled as she struggled to explain her feelings for him. She did sound a little confused, but it was perfectly fine when it was regarding someone like Choi and whether she really had these feelings for him. She seemed pretty happy with her decision, giving a little nod, “You know, it’s good that you see that in him because I’m sure this change will be very stressful for him as well”, he spoke, scratching his cheek, “They’ll both be pretty nervous. Change is hard to cope with and neither of them have had a very good time with it in the past. Choi will probably be happy enough to talk to you if you want to talk to him, just don’t corner him or he might get frightened and start spewing random babble”. Viral didn’t want it anywhere near him and now it was touching him, but he was quick try and cut it up and slice it to pieces with only his claws. Giving it a good few slashes here and there, the creature soon backed off and he was able to move again but that didn’t mean he wasn’t still angry about it. It tried to go straight out and eat him, something he definitely did not appreciate in the slightest. So this thing could merge with a type of surface, but whether it was any surface was still something to be seen; however, he wasn’t planning on waiting to see it. Wanting this thing dead, he pulled out his cleaver once more and tried to concentrate on its energy again, he tried to read its movements without needing to stare at it. If he could learn how to recognise its energy then he’d be able to counter others of its kind in the future, especially considering it was fairly unique. Slowly rubbing his chest, he looked up and around, eventually managing to spot it come back out again only for Vegeta to counter it. Watching him, he readied himself again, slowly giving his head a rub to try and clear it before Vegeta made his move with the monster. Twisting his cleaver around, he made a straight cross swipe as it came tumbling for him, trying to cut it in half.
