"And I'm Kress Alstein," Kress Alstein chirped up, immediately after Alberta finished her spiel. "Good morning to you too, Professor Nyx!" Bit weird that their teacher used a 'title + first name' system, when everyone used a 'title + surname' method of being addressed to, but maybe there was a preference here. Nyx DID suit a darkness mage more than Yuria did, after all. Probably. He didn't mind the wait himself. No doubt that being so young and so unaccomplished came with its own difficulties, and their professor was probably super nervous about the whole 'teaching a class of students for the first time' deal. Didn't get enough sleep, spent too much time preparing, probably ran afoul with a custodian, and voila! Kress, evidently, was willing to give anyone and everyone the benefit of the doubt. All the time spent waiting on the good professor just meant that he had plenty of time to settle down all the butterflies in his own stomach. Quietly patting his now-calm chest and sipping on a nice brew of apple blossom tea, the youth prepared himself for his first day of class. It was going to be the best.
