Her build very athletic and is incredibly toned with her stomach feeling as hard as a rock. She a few scares doted around her body though most of them aren't noticeable and the others can be covered hidden underneath her clothing. Only exception is the large scar on her neck which she hides by wearing a large chocker while out in public. Lucinda's usual attire is a tank top and cargo pants though she will wear a leather jacket of the weathers to cold. Lucinda on rare occasions will wear a skirt. Also she doesn't like carrying a purse and instead uses a leather pocket belt. When it comes to footwear she almost always wears a pair of boots. She despises heels and will never wear them because they are uncomfortable and you are statically more likely to break your leg. Personality She has a very laid back personality and goes with the flow. She's learned that life will throw challenges and problems at you there is no point bitching or whining about it. You just have to roll up your sleeves and try to overcome it and if you can't you just make the best of the situation. Following that philosophy Lucinda has always tried to get the most out of life she can. She even does her best to enjoy the job she never wanted to take in the first place. Since she wants to enjoy life as much as she can she cares very little about what other people think of her and will keep doing what she enjoys no matter what. Hell if she cared what people thought of her she wouldn't continue to flaunt her homosexuality in people faces. Also she isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks of them and has a tendency to mouth off at people she doesn't like. However she won't get worked up about and will insult them calmly and coolly which usually gets them really pissed off. On a similar note Lucinda isn't one to hide her opinions and will tell you what she thinks. She also very tight when it comes to money and will only spend money on her projects or a new game. Classification Gamma History Lucinda was raised on a small farm in the country. The farm was located just a mile outside of town making it easy to interact with the local community. Mom her often went into town as the farm got very lonely with just the two of them on it. Lucinda's grandparents on her moms side of family had retired to Florida leaving the farm to mother and father. The reason father wasn't still around when Lucinda was little is because he and mom got divorced a few months after she was born. Mom had divorced him is when she found out he was a wheeler dealer and a con artist from her friends in town. Turns out father had been buying cheap substandard parts for tractors and selling them off as if they were genuine replacement parts. He left as soon as he could sign the divorce papers as he had no desire to be strung up or chased out of town by the locals. After father left that day he never once tried to contact Lucinda or even send her a birthday card. In fact only one person from her father's side of the family send her anything and that was uncle Tony who would always send Lucinda a birthday and Christmas card. In Lucinda's opinion growing up as a only child with only her mom to raise her was great. Even if mom was fairly strict with her punishments she was still the most caring parent she could wish for. Mom didn't care that she didn't want to play with dollies or dress up like normal little girls. Lucinda would often play with the other boys during group play dates often playing with their action figures and toy guns. Mom was very encouraging saying if Lucinda wanted to be a little tomboy then she could be a tomboy. So as the years went on Lucinda amassed a collection of comic books, action figures and video games. The only thing girly about her was that she didn't want to play outside in the dirt. When it came time for her to go to school Lucinda was initially sent to the local school in town. Now seeing as the town was so small and there were so few children around they had mixed age classes. Lucinda was friends with many of the children already which is usually the case when you live in a small town. It was noticed that during lessons Lucinda would often be seen peeking at the older children's school books. Naturally most of her teachers thought she was just being curious and wanted to act older. That continued to be the case until she was around age eight when teacher looked over her shoulder and saw her answering questions meant for the older students. The next day Lucinda was tested and found to be much more advanced and was at least several grades ahead of where she should be. When her mother was brought in to discuss the situation she was told Lucinda was very gifted and would need a more challenging curriculum than they could provide to reach her full potential. The next few weeks were very stressful for her mother as she spent long sleepless nights trying to figure out how she could do the right thing for Lucinda. After looking into every school within commuting distance she came to one conclusion. Which was that none of them had a challenging enough curriculum. So after that mother realised that she would have to start looking into sending Lucinda to a boarding school. Problem was all the ones she had been able to find that would be challenging enough for Lucinda cost an arm and a leg. Plus she hadn't even discussed things with Lucinda yet so she had no idea if Lucinda wanted to go. Lucinda was initially very upset when her mother told her that she was thinking about sending her to a boarding school. Thankfully mother was able to reassure Lucinda that she still loved her and that she was only thinking about sending her away so she could learn more. Lucinda said that she would go once mother promised to call everyday as she really did like learning new things. Mother never told her that in order to send her to this school she had to use all her savings and remortgage the family farm as she didn't want Lucinda to worry. The days leading up to Lucinda attending her new school where incredibly stressful for her. Lucinda was constantly worried that she might not be able to make any friends there or that she wouldn't be good enough for the school. This lasted until she arrived at the school and instantly made friends with some after she saw their comic books. Her fears would eased even more after they posted the school rankings for her grade and she found her name just slightly above the average. However in her electronics and coding classes she was one of the top students. Now this was no easy feat considering her school was one of the best in the country. To occupy her free time she joined the IT Club and Board Games Club. In the IT Club Lucinda would often be found making some new mini game since it helped her practice for the future career she wanted as a game programmer. She also joined the board games club to help her get a more varied perspective on games plus she liked playing them anyway. She especially loved the games of D&D she played with her friends. The only thing Lucinda didn't like was that she could only come back for the summer and winter breaks. Mother couldn't afford to send her home for every school break as money was to tight and as Lucinda grew older she realised this. Lucinda's life would pretty stay this way until she turned sixteen and the Equinox happened. How they were affected by Equinox [hider=After Equinox history] When the Equinox happened and everyone woke up with superpowers Lucinda was really excited at first. I mean real life superpowers out of a comic book what could be cooler. Her mood was slightly dampened when she found out that a lot of people had been hurt or killed during this event. Plus the school had decided to close, which Lucinda wasn't to happy about as there were several lessons and projects she had been looking forward attending or completing. But there was nothing she could do about. All she could do is wait for her mother to pick her up and take her home. Unfortunately something was very wrong at home as the school couldn't get through to her mother nor anyone else that lived nearby. Lucinda hoped that it was nothing serious though as the other children all started to leave she had her doubts. During this waiting period she got a call from her grandfather's nursing home telling her that he had died. Of course she asked how this had happened and was told that his power had attracted a lot of young women to him and that seeing them all had given him a heart attack. Lucinda was devastated that her grandfather had passed though she was relieved that grandma hadn't been around to witness it. She moped around for the next day or two trying to process what happened to him. A few days after all the other students had gone home a few men came from the government though Lucinda doesn't remember who they worked for. All she remembers is the devastating news they told her that. It turns out her mother had been sent to a government facility for containment as she was to constantly emitting high levels of radiation. They told her that standing next to her was the same as standing next to an unshielded nuclear reactor. When Lucinda asked about her home town the men told her that it had been completely irradiated and that the entire population was either dead or slowly dying from radiation poisoning. The men assured Lucinda that her mother wouldn't be charged for killing all those people so long as her mother let allowed them to utilise her powers. Mother was pretty much prisoner who would be working for the government for free. Lucinda realised that kicking up a fuss wouldn't do any good since her mother would have to stuck in a radiation proof room no matter what. In addition it was implied that if she did offer any resistance they would charge her mother for the deaths of everyone in town. With that horrible business out of the way they left and said someone from Social services would be around to see her in the next few days. A few days later and just as promised the woman from social services came. Lucinda was shocked and horrified when the woman told her that her farther would be taking custody of her. Lucinda of course questioned why her deadbeat daddy who hadn't so much as sent her a birthday or Christmas was getting custody of her? The woman from social services informed her that of her living relatives only her father and his mother were the only ones who didn't have an excessive criminal record or weren't in prison. The woman further explained that Lucinda's grandmother on her father's side had refused to raise her as it would interfere with her new modelling career. What stunned Lucinda the most was the fact her Uncle Tony had a criminal record as he had always been so nice in the cards he sent. She was so stunned in fact she didn't even register the fact she was climbing into a car on and on her way to her new life. It was almost midnight before she arrived at her dads place in Detroit. Looking at it from the outside it was definitely the crappiest apartment building she had ever seen in her life. Stepping inside she assumed things could only get better. How wrong and disappointed she was when she saw it was even crappier on the inside. Finally arriving at her father's front door she wasn't certain what she expected but it certainly wasn't a fairly normal looking lean ginger haired man. At least he looked normal until he smiled and showed her his razor sharp shark like teeth that were probably hindering his ability to sell his junk products which she saw piled up in his apartment. Still Lucinda would rather live with him than risk ending up somewhere in foster care system. At least with him she knew what she was getting. She still hated him and that hate only grew when he told her that he was pulling her from her school as it was a waste of money and a load of bullshit. He then went and enrolled her in the local state school since it was free. What pissed her off is that he didn't care that the school was failing and had cut all extra circular classes and had one of the worst grade averages in the country. Lucinda was just happy that with her grades she could skip to her final year of high school and hopefully from there get a full scholarship if her grades were same as her predicted ones. From her first day at her knew school Lucinda knew that she was going to hate it here. For starters the school itself was barely standing and was in serious disrepair. The classrooms didn't have all the necessary supplies they needed. Though that really didn't matter when the teachers had clearly given up. The other students hated how smart Lucinda was and how she was constantly pushing for the teachers to the classes harder. Lucinda was also a bit of a goody two shoes often telling the teachers when someone did something serious. She didn't bother telling the teachers about anything minor as they didn't do anything about it. It's fair to say that the student body hated her and that she was often bullied by them. Things only got worse when they found out she was also gay as homophobia was still alive and well here. Talking to her father didn't help as he was always to busy. In fact she was pretty sure her dad only took her in so he could gain access to some single parent benefits and finical aid. Her mom tried to comfort her the best she could during there video chats though her mom would often need comforting herself. So Lucinda often went to her uncle Tony's house to get the emotional support she needed and just chose to forget about his criminal record. Things were finally looking up for her after a few months as most of the bullies had backed off after she stopped snitching. She was still an outsider and hated but she could live with that. However things would once again take a nose dive during a police inspection of the student's lockers and bags. These searches happened often so and Lucinda had nothing to hide so she wasn't bothered by it. Unfortunately for Lucinda she didn't realise when one of the schools student dealers slipped their drugs into her bag while they were heading into the assembly hall to be searched. Lucinda was of course shocked and denied the drugs where hers when the dog indicated on her bag. The police took her downtown to the station where they laid out the evidence against her. They told her that her fellow students weren't vouching for her character and they had pictures of her meeting with her uncle Tony who was former criminal and a suspected member of organised crime. The useless lawyer her dad hired and her high classification didn't help matters. Lucinda realised that even with just circumstantial evidence they had there was a high likelihood of her being convicted. So she plea bargain and did some community service. Having to do months of community service had really eaten into her study time so when her grades came in she was so nervous. Thankfully her grades weren't impacted to much and were still high enough that she should have gained her full scholarship. However she would receive letters back saying that due to her criminal record and high classification they couldn't risk accepting her as she might endanger the other students. Lucinda was mortified and spent the next week either crying her eyes out or smashing up her room. Once she calmed down Lucinda realised she would have to make some money so she could afford to attend some community college as they usually accepted anyone who could pay. Unfortunately for her the area she was in had a really bad unemployment rate so the only job she could get was working for her dad. Thankfully all she had to do was pick up her father's junk from some warehouse and then drive it back to his apartment. After a few weeks Lucinda was respecting her father a bit more as she noticed he was getting in more and more genuine products. Though this respect disappeared when she was pulled over and arrested for having a van full of stolen goods. Since she had a criminal record they weren't going to be as lenient this time. Thankfully Lucinda was able to make a deal where she only got a year in juvie and in return she snitched on her father and the worker who loaded the van. Spending a year in juvie not only toughened her up but also changed her in other ways. For example she was certain that she would never get the degree she wanted and that meant no gaming company would ever hire. No if she wanted something she would do it herself and so she would make her own game. She also learned from the other kids in here that the world will just continue to shit on you so you should just go with the flow. Thankfully she wouldn't have to go to a real prison as she was released just before her eighteenth birthday. Upon her release she was met by her uncle Tony and told no one accept him on father's side wanted anything to do with her. He also explained that he couldn't take her in as the people he worked for wouldn't take kindly to him having a snitch in his house. So to help her out he gave Lucinda a plane ticket to Vorpool as well as keys to an apartment in the downtown area with two months rent already down paid on it. He also gave her a few thousand dollars. Her uncle hoped this would be enough for her to make a life for herself down there. A few hours after being picked up he dropped her off at the airport. He explained that he was also sending her away because some of the people she snitched on had friends or family who wanted to pay her back for what she did. Now after spending almost a year in Vorpool Lucinda's life is completely different to anything she could of imagined. When she first arrived Lucinda tried to find some work only to be rejected every single time. Without a viable source of income Lucinda realised that her money would run out soon and she would be on the street. So to buy herself some time she started fixing people's busted up electronics to earn a little cash. She couldn't make a living doing just this but it did buy her enough time to look for a job. Eventually Lucinda found a possible line of work for herself while scrolling through late night television. So the next day she went down to the bail bondsman office to enquire about being a bounty hunter. They didn't seem to care much about her criminal record and her classification was actually a good thing as it meant she was more likely to accept going after targets of similar or higher classification. Thing is she would only get paid once she caught the bail jumper and to find them in the first place would take lots of research. However being a former top student Lucinda was great at research and took to the job well. She would do even better when she made a computer program to scan social media for their presence. It's true her new job has given her a few scar but with the flexible hours she now has the time to work on the indie game she is developing herself. All in all it's an ok life.
