While he couldn't block both, Ambrosio did think on his feet and block the ichor blasts. To mitigate the zweihander, he moved forward slightly and set the haft of his weapon on his shoulder, catching the large blade with it. The haft acted as both a shock absorber and a bit of a channel to guide the blade, causing it to slide some backward along the haft and relieve a good bit of pressure from the blow. It still hurt like hell, but it gave him time to react without having taken a huge hit. He shifted his haft down, letting the larger weapon draw his blade downward. With a bit of ingenuity, he moved his weapon from beneath the larger blade. This caused the polearm to spring up from the released force, adding to Ambrosio's upward lift, causing a devastating slice to fly straight towards the now vulnerable underarm of the Lost, intending to cripple or kill through its body.
