Looking in interest checks may be the best place to start. We have one for [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/16-1x1-interest-checks]1x1 Roleplays[/url], [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/15-arena-interest-checks]Arena[/url] (which seems a touch dead), [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/40-tabletop-interest-checks]Tabletop[/url], [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/43-nation-interest-checks]Nation[/url], [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/12-free-interest-checks]Free[/url] (one-liners and quick responses), [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/13-casual-interest-checks]Casual[/url] (two or more pargraphs from the looks of it), and [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/14-advanced-interest-checks]Advanced[/url] (novellas). You can make your own or respond to one that catches your eye. I've noticed that 1x1 is tends to be the most popular with newcomers though. There is also a [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/38-general-interest-checks]General[/url] interest check section though that seems to be dead from time to time.

If you want something that is easy to "jump into", then I'm currently in [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/182175-a-writing-experiment-one-story-multiple-authors/ic]this[/url] Roleplay which is easy to slide in and out of. We'd love to have more people, but no pressure to join. Either way, I hope you're able to find something up to your taste while here.
