Adam balked at Kijani when she opened fire on the Stormtroopers. He was expecting more negotiating, but he supposed they weren't here to play nice. When she took off down the prison hall, Adam shouted back to her. "I'll stay back here. Someone's gotta cover the exit!" he said while reaching for the discarded blasters on the ground. He considering ditching the weapons and going with his lightsaber, but decided against it. He didn't want to declare himself as a Jedi until it was absolutely necessary. He took an E-11 blaster rifle in each hand. The weapons were small enough to be carried and fired one handed, if not accurately. Thankfully, the reception area for the prison level was small, and the range would be very short. Adam trained his weapons on the door and waited for the soldiers who were definitely coming now. ------ Bail Organa sat in the cold, durasteel prison cell, head hanging in shame. He still blamed himself for what happened to Alderaan, and his only comfort was that Kijani was far, far away from Alderaan when it happened. The older man wondered if he would ever see her again. Maybe it would be for the best if he didn't. Hopefully she would stay far away from Yavin 4 before the Death Star arrived. For a second, he thought he was finally losing his mind. For a second, he thought he heard his daughter's voice outside his door. "Whose there?" he said, not sure whether to be relieved or horrified.
