Differing from the Resistance effect employed by Magi that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. At this rank, it cancels Single-Action spells. A Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.
Independent Action A: The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. At this rank, it is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. In addition, it is possible for Archer to stay in the world for about a week without a Master. She can anticipate an enemy's actions by letting them take the initiative and then confirming their intentions.
"Go ahead. A moment after this Noble Phantasm has been unleashed, a veritable deluge of arrows will rain down on all designated targets. While each individual arrow does "little damage" on its own, the volume of fire makes this attack a threat. There's also the possibility of directing all the shots to an area as small as a single target, raising the lethality of the attack accordingly. Rather than becoming the Beast herself, wearing the pelt causes Archer to become a Beastly Human. In exchange for sealing Tauropolos—or rather Phoebus Catastrophe—all parameters except for Luck are enhanced. In this state she becomes almost equivalent to a Berserker with A Rank Mad Enhancement and an A Rank Transformation/Self-Evolution Skill. Each of the modifiers stand for one of the conditions.)
[General Magecraft] Lyra is proficient in the the usual general foundations for a properly educated magus of the Clock Tower. As well as a great many deal of general applications of air magecraft and runes. However, her true expertise lies elsewhere. [Personal Magecraft] Beast Regression Magecraft, also known as Atavism Magecraft, is a form of magecraft specialized in returning one to their natural state. On its basis, it can be used to Reinforce various parts of the body, or even the whole being, by acquiring characteristics latent in one's blood, it can allow half-breeds to recall the innate traits of their ancestors. However, the price for overusage is even steeper than that of usual magecraft. The closer one goes to their origin, and the longer they stay there, the harder it's to return. The benefits of this form of magecraft are undeniable, but the drawbacks are big enough to make most conventional magi shy away from ever attempting to bring that practice into their bloodline even if it would advance their grand work. At her best state of regression, becoming a complete facsimile of a monstrous beast, Lyra is strong enough to smash through a thirty centimeters concrete wall with her bare hands (or claws in that case). However, she can't stay in this state for more than a few minutes without risking to lose her human mind forever. If it's a full moon night, her power output is amplified twicefold but the chances of going berserk and turning into a monster are also much higher. [Sorcery Traits] Mana Erosion, the ability to disrupt magecraft and even forcibly shut off the magic circuits of individuals capable of hearing her howls. Since this ability comes from a monstrous beast's innate capability to reject magical energy, she can't make use of it unless she regresses back to the state of being a facsimile of one. She also owns Mystic Eyes of Charm of a particularly high quality, bought at one of Rail Zeppelin's auctions. [Mystic Codes] The powerful hammer that she uses would normally be a tool more appropriate for a militant member of the church than a magus, even most Enforcers prefer subtler methods to accomplish their goals. Its's a weapon forged out of cold iron, especially crafted to protect the last remainders of the werewolves against the threats of other supernatural beings. A heavy weapon that ejects the natural defenses of most types of elementals and magical beasts making its wielder's attack strike true against them. Naturally, it's useful for dealing with human threats as well, be them the church or other mages. When it's not being used it can be stored away as a charm, in a manner similar to the Church's black keys. [Mystic Tools] --- [Special Boon] Superior Servant. Lyra has the raw magical energy to sustain one of these.
[Personality] Lyra normally is a calm and taciturn person. She tends to not speak much but is always observant of her surroundings. In many ways, her personality resembles that guard dog or a wolf taken away from her pack. It's only natural, though since her inner beast is always in conflict with her human side. She's a wolf in human's clothing. Naturally fond of isolation, she grew an eclectic taste for music and reading, even learning to play a few instruments though she rarely practices nowadays. Because of her beastly side, she has no qualms with taking what she needs, whenever she needs it. Those who don't have the strength to protect their possessions don't deserve to own them. However, she isn't wasteful and all she speaks tends to be the utter truth. After all, unlike humans and elementals, beasts have no need for lies. In a way, this makes her the antithesis of a typical Clocktower magus. The kind of people who might as well be considered the apex of all of humanity's worst traits. [Background] Lyra is the eldest child of the Schwarzen family. A well-established Northern European lineage of mages with blood ties to the ancient werewolves who once inhabited most of the continent. While they were originally a clan of runemasters and practitioners of traditional forms of witchcraft and elemental manipulation, those pursuits were set aside when one of their ancestors intermingled with monstrous beasts centuries ago. Their knowledge is still stored in their family's crest, but most of it hardly noteworthy. Especially when compared to their powerful beast magecraft. As far as Lyra's personal history goes, she isn't that different from any child of other magi lineages. She was born and raised to succeed her father. After learning all their arts and crafts she was sent to the Clocktower for further education and has been studying there for the better part of the last half a decade. She hasn't gained that much of a reputation thanks to her ill-seen form of magecraft, but her potential is undeniable even to her fiercest nemesis. She reached the title of Pride at a relatively tender age, and with a few more years of training may be able to join the ranks of the Brand elite. Given that Lyra is neck-deep on the Folklore Department, researching ancient curses and magical artifacts, the call of the Holy Grail War is a natural thing to her. Her expectations aren't only for victory but also the chance to research America's long history with half-breeds, hoping to find the key to unlock the next step in her family's Opus Magnum. [Misc]

In regards to Alanta's abilities: She's considered to be the best hunters of Greek Mythology, her skill (and the level of respect she commended back then) are reflected in her name whose meaning can be loosely translated to "The one who's equal/has the same value [as men]" which essentially mean she stands on equal footing with the members of the big boys club of Greek heroes. She's also one of the oldest recorded heroes of Greek mythology, preceding even the likes of Heracles and Achilles. She was an active participant in both of the two most important events of the early Greek Heroic Age, the hunt of the Calydonian Boar (in which she was a main character, one upping even great heroes with divine blood like the Dioscuri and Theseus) as well as the journey of the Argo (in which the greatest legends of the Early Greek Heroic Age banded together to form one of the oldest "all-stars" teams in recorded mythology). She was said to have been able to defeat much more powerful opponents using not only physical strength but also cunning, just like the time she defeated Peleus (Achilles' father) in a wrestling match, and the many times she defeated anyone who tried to a footrace. In fact, it was said that Atalanta was so fast she could challenge the likes of Hermes and Iris (the fastest of the Greek Gods) to a race and have a real chance to win. To put it into perspective, not only was she a woman who was respected as having the same value as a man (after she proved herself over and over again), she was also of the few fully mortal heroes who was able to measure up and overcome those of divine blood. Even though in some renditions of her tale she has some blood relationship with the Gods that's far from being common. She was most certainly Artemis' second favorite follower, only behind a certain other Archer who was said to be able to shoot down anything. Putting her mythological attributes aside for a moment, in Fate works, Atalanta still is considered a peerless huntress. Her skill with the bow, experience, animal attributes, and the depths of the Mystery surrounding her are vast enough to make her one of the best Servants within the Archer Class. According to her description on Fate/Apocrypha, many Archers have the abilities to components of what she does, some of them even surpass her skills in their specific areas, but very few of them have the capacity to do all of the things she can do together. Among the comproved canon feats she shares between Apocrypha, GO and other isolated appearances in the franchise, are:

Extremely refined senses: Atalanta's visual acuity is equal to or greater than that of a Servant who combines both Clair Voyance B and Eye of the Mind (True). Her ability to see in near pitchblack darkness, feel the flow of the most minute air currents, as well as detect the movements of enemies from great distances by hearing and smell are literally second to none. They allow her to pull precision sniping feats within the heart of a forest, in a moonless night, a feat explicitly said to be almost impossible to replicate by other Servants.
Huntsmanship and Woodsmanship: Atalanta is a master huntress. One of the few of her level of ability. She can set up traps, find and follow tracks that others would never be able to, as well as virtually disappear when she's hiding. This ability isn't the same as the Presence Concealment Skill, but much more like the ability of staying hidden and deploy hit-and-run tactics displayed by other Archers such as Robin Hood. A Servant will definitely know that she's around them if she gets too close, but knowing where she's and where she'll attack from are much harder issues. Furthermore, she can do all of this without employing any magecraft or abilities that rely on excessive amounts of prana, making her both exceedingly economical and hard to detect through magecraft and similar abilities.
Tauropolos "The Bow of Heaven": Amongst Archer Servants armaments, Tauropolos stands as a unique weapon that would be worth of being a Noble Phantasm on its own but somehow isn't classified as one. It's Artemis' personal bow, a Divine Construct belonging to the Goddess of Hunt and Archery herself. Tauropolos' shots are already powerful in and of themselves, but its ability to overdraw is almost unheard of even among stronger Archers and similar weapons. Many other Archers can overdraw their bows, but Tauropolos' overdraw is able to deal above A Rank damage. True to its title as a bow whose arrows can penetrate anything, there's not a single defensive Noble Phantasm that cannot be pierced by this much damage and deal potentially fatal wounds to the target.
Aesthetics of the Last Spurt: This is born of the anecdotes of Atalanta's footraces but its usage isn't limited to running. Normally, she wouldn't even need it to beat most other Servants in a race merely because she's already one of the fastest Heroic Spirits recorded in the Throne of Heroes. Aesthetics is a skill that allows Atalanta to confirm an opponents and successfully come up with a viable strategy to counter it. This applies to anything, from hand-to-hand combat to tracking, etc. As long as Atalanta is able to notice, understand, and has the reaction time to, she has a very good chance of being able to counter any actions taken against her. The success isn't granted, of course, but the likelihood of it is great.
