His education was prepared for and he studied with many great tutors and many would say it was with this education did his greatness really shine through, his plans for Russia affecting it long after his death, his schematics for a better kingdom were something that defined Russia for most of history after his reign. When he was 4 his father passed away, his feeble and sickly brother Feodor instead taking the throne. However, Peter’s luck pulled through and his succession was made possible with the passing of his brother merely 6 years into his rule. Due to the rest of his family being unable to rule, Peter took to the throne at 10 years old, his mother being his regent, but overall the weight was thrust upon the young Tsar but he accepted his destiny gladly, also because tradition dictated he had to. During this period he witnessed the brutality of his own kind with a rebellion that ended with him and his half brother Ivan ruling together. During this time he cared not for others dictating his rule, taking this time to delve into shipbuilding and mock battles with his toy army. Soon, in 1694, he finally took the throne, quelling the rebellion by his own people and taking full control of his mighty nation, shaping it into his own personal kingdom, improving it and reforming the old to make way for the new. Peter was unnatural for a Tsar, very outgoing and cheerful, always looking to make friends rather than just connections, he was said to be remarkably tall although he always enjoyed mingling with the lower class, even though they always knew who he was even when he tried to disguise himself. He believed the key to success was integrating other examples into his own expansion and reform, quickly deciding to change the whole layout of the kingdom, developing and building St Petersburg into the capital, making it his main base of command and his prized possession. He travelled Europe, learning and adapting, fending off his enemies and claiming many lands for himself, solidifying himself as the Embodiment of Russia. Many of his lesser nobles called for his bravery to be rewarded with the title Emperor of the East, but he refused because that was embarrassing and too pompous. Peter’s rule was full of war, many rebelling against him, but when he defeated them he would always be strict but fair, never executing anyone foolishly, but executing those who deserved it to set an example. He was a studious, careful king who always enjoyed to find some relaxation and expand his horizons. He famously defeated the Swedes many a time and was able to hold himself against the Ottomans as well, after a few failed attempts at expanding. Peter would always learn and adapt, knowing exactly how to improve his army to defeat his enemies, whilst he did sometimes find disaster by sending the wrong troops to do the job he designated to them. He lived a long life, reforming the government and infrastructure of Russia into one that would hold up for centuries to come, many hailing him as the embodiment of Mother Russia, a title he never embraced but always appreciated. He died of illness, leaving it all to his wife, ensuring the succession that would lead to many more great leaders like himself, one loved by nobles and public alike, and thanks to his Grand Embassy, many foreign rulers also appreciated him, mourning his passing as one of the great monarchs to pass. But he always wanted to do more, he always felt like he could do better, so when the grail came calling, he gladly accepted, a new challenge for him to overcome, something he would never back down from! _________________________________________ Parameters: Strength: B Endurance: C Agility: C Mana: B Luck: B _________________________________________ Class Skills: Riding A: Known for his proficiency in the saddle, however not as much as his descendant Empress, this skill shows his ability to ride most mounts with ease, his education priming him for the mastery of many vehicles as well as animals, mounts that he can command and control with ease, allowing him to easily adapt to mounts that are not quite his style. His voyages taught him excellent riding abilities allowing him to master any mounts at his disposal Magic Resistance C: Said to have surpassed a curse that had plagued his family, many hailed Peter as an enemy of witchcraft for a small time as a child, unlike his other siblings he avoided the curse of disease, as such this allows Peter to have resistance against weak magic. Personal Skills: Charisma B: A ruler who was beloved by his subjects and could command the loyalty of those who once plotted against them, Peter’s words bring ambition and strength, bolstering his allies and soldiers with ease with nothing but a speech. Mana Burst (Frost) B : Rider’s greatest ally during his reign was the Winter that his enemies would always fail during, a fact he often took advantage of, especially against the Swedes and Persians, the weather always adding to his attacks on their forces. Due to him representing the greatness of his Nation, Peter is able to infuse weapons and his attacks with magical energy that takes the shape of frostbite like frost. Attacks with weapons infused with this Frost often leave frost in its place that can weaken and slow down enemies. Emperor of the East A: A skill that denotes his power and influence over Eastern Europe during his rule, emperors and regents of neighbouring countries always recognising his power and title of his stardom. His power was always respect in Eastern Europe, as such, this skill allows Peter to grant a boost to any from Eastern Europe who fight alongside him, and any Eastern European servants who oppose him always feel compelled to surrender even when fighting, a compulsion that can be quelled but is still very strong. Shapeshift D-: A skill that Peter is…very proud of. During his odyssey across Europe, peter prided himself on being there in secret always taking the role of a commoner or a lower noble, never as a great Tsar. These disguises were ambitious at best, ut due to his impressive height at 6’8, everyone knew exactly who he was. Everyone knew the folly of his disguise, besides him. This skill allows Peter to change his appearance but only accounts for his face, meaning that overall, the skill is useless but one he loves to boast of, even if his mighty build gives him away. _________________________________________ NOBLE PHANTASMS
Title: The Grand Embassy Rank: A NP Type: Fortress Range: 1 Maximum Number of Targets: N/A Description: Expansion and reform defined Peter’s rule, his proudest achievement was always the development of St Petersburg based on his knowledge from travelling and learning from experts all over the world, adapting to the knowledge he took in by forming friendships and establishing Russia further and further, spreading the word of his reformation. His reforms and expansion take the form of the Grand Embassy, showcasing his reforms and most importantly his development of St Petersburg. Whilst one of his finest designs it is also a double edged blade. The Grand Embassy takes the shape of Peter and Paul's fortress, an unusual noble Phantasm for a rider class but befits a man who represents his nation. The fortrest is not too expansive but is surrounded by a hexagon wall and the ornate buildings within it are created by Peter upon activation of the NP. This takes a lot of mana however and he can't establish it near enemy lines, as such when he is within it he cannot utilise other noble Phantasms or skills unless he has exceptional mana from his master. However whilst within the walls of the Grand Embassy, his allies are granted boosts to their strength and endurance and enemies are granted debuffs to their agility and endurance. Title: Russia’s Might Rank: B NP Type: Anti-Unit (self) Range: 1 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: Peter’s mount is not the bronze horse he had expected but rather a mount much grander than that, of proportions he accepts reluctantly but one that his reputation has deserved. Peter embodied a great Russian ruler and as thus his mount is the embodiment of Russia, the might Bear. This mount is one that is bestowed upon him to show his might as a Russian ruler, the country’s overwhelming power condensed into a single Bear. Peter can summon this Mighty Bear, a large creature of pseudo-phantasmal origins, it contains extraordinary strength and endurance, its charges being very destructive but overall it’s a great steed to charge into battle, its special ability based on Peter’s reign is what sets it apart. The bear also benefits from any buffs Peter has and can also be used to channel his mana burst through, allows him to deliver frost attacks with its mighty claws or bites. Peter was known to recuperate and defeat forces he had already lost against, always learning how to devastate his opponents after being defeated by them. When defeated in battle, Peter will be able to summon the Bear at increased power against those he had already lost to if he faces them again, in special cases adapting to a specific advantage they had, for example, if someone had defeated him with Fire attacks, the Bear would be summoned with fire defences based on battle experience, but it has to be defeated, a stalemate will not count.
Misc/Other/Trivia: Peter is obsessed with history, so will likely be more distracted by warriors of old rather than trying to really defeat them, even if he knows that is his purpose here.
