Hi! I'm interested but I am slightly confused. The Nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels and humans, they weren't exactly angels themselves. Are you taking creative liberty with them here? It's fine if you are I'm just checking to make sure I got mythos correct
No you've got it straight - the Nephilim are not quite angels themselves. You are 100% correct. Technically it was the Watchers that were the true angels, but rather than muddy the waters and confuse people I am omitting them and calling the Nephilim fallen angels as a simplification/creative liberty. I thought it would offer some interesting storytelling opportunities to have the perspective of fallen angels intermingling with the human majority. What might they think of human society? Perhaps some Nephilim want to elevate humanity from their baser desires? Perhaps some have given into their human peers and have fallen to hedonism like their fellow man? Human-angel interactions are something that I am going to explore in depth in my plotlines. Also, rumors of my death are highly exaggerated. I still plan on going forward with this so stay tuned.
