The older members have moved into more sedate, office roles and she's often the oldest one out on missions, shepherding the young trainees and making sure they don't do too much damage to get detected by people they shouldn't be revealing themselves to. For someone who was the baby of her family, it's not a job she has a lot of experience at but she cares enough about her fellow Guildmates to give a concerted effort.

Because of this, her reputation around the Guild has changed a bit to that of a colder, more calm operator. One who is able to remain fluid with a situation but tighten up and make moves when needed. She doesn't flinch under pressure, having seen and heard the stories from her father about the atrocities of the wars. It was her fault her father had to kill that Syrian soldier. Spoiled magical brats whining that they couldn't use their magic outside? It was petulant whining, the kind Samira had no time for on the job.

When not in babysitter mode, Samira can actually be a very playful person. Despite the wars and actions that forced her family to flee her homeland, life in Belleville was good, and life in New York was even better. She knows she's got something special and when out enjoying herself at various music venues and bars around the city, Samira is quite keen to play the mysteriously coy stranger act to get what she wants. Which is usually entertainment of various kinds. She's smart enough to not get too crazy, and charming enough that her ventures end well more often than not. 

[color=3fd0d4][b]History / Bio:[/b][/color] The Boukhary family was a known Magi group based in the Mediterrean nation of Lebanon. It was rumoured that their bloodlines dated back to the ancient Phoenicians and that their ways with the waters allowed that civilization to expand its network of colonies to the lengths it did. If they did, they managed to keep enough of a low profile to avoid attention from the various forces that conquered the land, surviving empires and sultanates and even France. Even in the Civil War when countrymen turned against one another, the Boukhary family managed to avoid falling into battle. However, when the Syrians occupied the land and a soldier ended up drowning to death on dry land, it was time for Ahmed's branch of the family to disappear from the region. Thus the family of four fled their native land in 1996, settling in the lakeside town of Belleville, Ontario. 

Ahmed passed his hydro-manipulating abilities onto his two daughters. However, while Rania grew up in Lebanon long enough to follow her father in the more liquid facets of the art, Samira was only five when she came to Canada. She was still young and impressionable. So when Ahmed decided that Samira was ready to start learning about her birthrights as a Mage, it was the middle of January. Samira had become enamored with the strange cold water that fell from the sky and settled on her nose. It made sense to Ahmed though. Boukhary birthmarks usually invoked the ocean, with waves or swirls. Samira's weird hexagon mark never made sense before the move to Canada, but as the flakes started falling, it was crystal clear that Ahmed's younger daughter was going to follow a different path.

Ahmed was aware that Guild activities were far more organized in North America than they were in the Middle East. Plus, the family had always been allowed to operate on its own terms. However, the office in New York took interest in the relocated Boukhary clan. Rania respectfully refused, choosing to remain with her family in Canada in order to continue building their new life, but Samira was intrigued enough to move to New York City to become immersed in Guild life at the age of 16. She studied and started training while maintaining her cover as a student at Long Island University-Brooklyn. New York took to her well and she willingly kept Brooklyn as her home base as she started doing missions for the Guild that had her travel to various parts of the world under the guise of being a vice president for international business at SunWolf Consulting. The only things she's been consulting on lately though is the growth of some of the younger members of the Guild and how to best deal with the presence of magic and those that want to reveal it to the world.

[*][i]Mental Toughness:[/i] Some shit has been seen. Even long before her time at the Guild, Samira has seen and heard things that would make grown adults weep. So she is excellent at maintaining her composure even in the most daunting of situations. Some fool made the mistake of attempting to mug her at gunpoint once. She never got his name, but she didn't have to. Tough to mug someone when the gun freezes up and then they get kicked into oblivion.
[*][i]Athletic:[/i] Samira played volleyball at LIU, although she regrets that they didn't add ice hockey to their list of scholarship sports until after she graduated. Also that they didn't rename their teams the Sharks until after she graduated. She still keeps in shape with her training and daily jogs through her neighborhood.
[*][i]Ingenuity:[/i] Ice can always surprise you, Samira likes to say. She seems to have an endless supply of creative ways to use her powers. Once of her favorite recent ones is freezing a portion of her skin on the back of her hand and using it as an added weight to strike with.
