Which still sounded like bullshit. If Maya said Phillis or whoever the fuck was so disappointed that she Awakened then maybe Taylor would believe it. From her perspective, it sounded like she said or did something dumb and make up this lie. It probably would be better if she just owned up to it (and it in this context sounded like sexually harassing Phillis). She blew a strand of hair out of the way of her face, before she said, "No offense but I'll believe it when I hear it from her." Then Maya actually entertained the idea of a strip club. To which Taylor had to flatly say, "I was joking, sugar." Not that Taylor was against the idea of going to a strip club. She figured that not all these little witches were ready for that kind of degeneracy. Or were, going off of what Maya just claimed. The big guy, Herik, suggested going out to dinner, and Taylor shrugged. "Sure thing, sugar," She started, "Just don't go somewhere too crazy. Unless you wanna watch me dine and dash."
"How about Emily treats us to dinner and drinks? She can't keep all of that cash to herself, now can she? It would only put a little dent into your savings."
Emily craned her neck in the direction of Lyss... this time making eye contact with her that would most likely give Lyss a spook. She stared at her, the eye only twitching slightly as she was silent. Maybe she got the point Emily was getting across. Maybe not, but she was going to get it because if Lyss was anything like the rest of the Coven; she was dumb as shit. "... This money isn't for me," Emily stated, her tone was flat and her volume was pretty low. "None of it was. It was to help someone else. Which you never considered for a second - I bet none of you did." Emily started, while she was strangely quiet and calm, one could probably infer the emotion that she was feeling. "Given that you're all laughing and playing it off as some kind of joke and bragging about it." Her gaze sharply went towards Maya for a second - making eye contact with her before looking off into the distance. "But let me stop here - I would love some dinner, Herik," Emily said to Herik, awfully polite. Was she being hypocritical? Maybe, but if they didn't care, neither did she anymore. They were probably going to ignore her and continue doing whatever it is that they're doing. When it goes wrong, then Emily was going to be there. Not saying a word. Maybe some fancy dinner would get her mind off things, yeah. The last place she wanted to go was a dirty strip club.
