Age: 26 Race: Orc Gender/Pronouns: Female - She/Her. Appearance: A statuesque Orcess. Much like other orcs, Morag-Nog is taller than humans. Standing at a solid 6'4, and weighing 250, her very thick bones add curvature to her body. Broad shoulders, thick limbs, all accentuated by her thick muscles that are common to all orcs. She's an imposing force, the kind of Orcess you don't want to meet in a dark alley. Or else you might get your balls strung up on a rope. However, plenty of that intimidating factor disappears once she starts talking - that, or they see her choice of clothing. Now, Morag-Nog has typical orc characteristics; thick green skin that has been scarred many times. There are plenty of other blade scars that aren't as severe, all over her, but I don't feel like describing them all! Her head is diamond-shaped, with a very thick and strong jaw. That jaw accents her underbite, two large, razor-sharp tusks. With thick, red lips that are of a lighter hue, and a small, triangle-shape, and a hooked nose. Her eyes are large, and olive color, usually having an annoying glare to them directed at the world. Her ears are large, round, and very pointed at the tips. Finally, Morag-Nog's head is bald but she has various tattoos on her body. Attire: Morag-Nog dresses with class - defying all stereotypes about orcs. Morag-Nog wears dresses and puts on jewelry. The kind of outfits that look more in place with royalty. That's when she's out on the town. When she's at home or inventing, she goes for the more practical outfits. Or practical for this time era. I don't know shit. Outward Personality: Morag-Nog is a classy, yet hard-assed and overtly judgemental. Morag-Nog has a veil of elegance, class, and always being in control of her emotions at all times. Usually, Morag-Nog is the strong silent type that keeps her mouth shut until it's needed. Of course, she's the kind of person that has a low tolerance for idiots and people who do the opposite. Usually, she's the first one to attempt to shut them up (most morons keep running their mouths). Morag-Nog is a woman of knowledge and changing perceptions... she wants to improve the life of Orcs and all other species and she believes that's through advancing technology. She is always out seeking to find new technologies and other knowledge to improve her life. However, Morag-Nog has a bit of a bias against the Darklings... seeing them as oppressors and vicious beings. Backstory: The story of Morag-Nog begins in Dolorod, specifically the easternmost part with all the rich merchants and stuff. She was born as a slave, never met her parents nor did she even have a name. The slavers were vicious, brutal people, who instilled discipline and order in her and many others in an attempt to drive up to her value a bit. It was a rough time but Morag-Nog tried her best to interact with and socialize with other slaves - until she was bought. It was by wealthy merchants out in a place known as Kadia that got rich by falling into money and trading with other businesses. She was brought into their house as a servant... however, the experience was stranger than she thought. She was made to clean and cook around the house but she was also taught academics and other basic skills. Eventually, she came to be treated as one of their kids and was apart of their family. There was something wrong here... whenever her family had or attended a gathering; she was brought up a lot as if she was a mere accomplishment, and she heard the word "civilized a lot". Morag-Nog brushed that off, but she was a very studious Orcess that didn't waste time in absorbing as much knowledge as she could. The coastal kingdom of Kadia had a lot of different interesting people... and eventually came across a human woman named Draya at a marketplace. Draya was a very eccentric but interesting and intelligent woman and she was more than happy to show Morag-Nog her inventions. The two parted ways, but Morag-Nog was interested in her and eventually found herself coming back for more. Morag-Nog, inspired by the woman, tried to drift towards being an inventor but it was hard given how the knowledge was hard to come by. Eventually, Morag-Nog asked Sarah to be her apprentice and the eccentric Sarah was more than welcoming of the idea... as it was stroking her ego knowing that some rich brat wanted to learn from her. The young Morag-Nog and the Draya spent a lot of time together, in fact, most of the former's free time was spent with her. Morag-Nog ended up on the road to becoming the world's greatest inventor. However, in their interactions, Morag-Nog got some different perspectives from Draya. After all, you're bound to pick up on some stuff after spending a lot of time. And soon enough, Morag-Nog learned the truth: that her parents didn't love or care about her (or did they?). She was adopted as something to flaunt over the rest of the rich families that they rescued and "civilized" a disgusting orc out of the wastes. It all came together, everything finally made sense: the looks, the comments, and everything in between finally had a rationalization in Morag-Nog's head. After a certain point, she just left the Kingdom of Kadia in the dead of the silent night with what she could carry with her. She only told Draya the inventor before she went on a long journey from one place to another on her way to the Orc homeland, Ignion. Of course, it wasn't what she thought it was... the exact details get messed up but she found the home of the Orcs. She found herself the Orc tribes and introduced herself as a freed slave and they took her in... of course she had to work for it. Morag-Nog went from a royal to a farmhand, and in the pursuit of finding her people and true culture, anything was worth it. It was difficult going from the privileged lifestyle to the more rough and rustic one. And the Orcs didn't exactly like her because she wasn't, well, raised in their ways and made up various insults and nicknames. However, she tried to press on because she really couldn't go back home. She was trained in the Orcish ways of combat and their culture as she tried to integrate into their society... and failed. It was seeming hopeless... then she was drafted into the Orc's little war against the Darklings. She had little idea what the war was even about, something about the taxes being too damn high. Either way, Morag-Nog honed her combat knowledge by fighting the Darklings, participating in various [s]top-secret[/s] raids on their farms, and the siege that went wrong... the Siege of Brimshard. Morag-Nog was there and it was a horrible, bloody affair... that told her that she had no place with the orcs, either. She was one of the survivors, and after the Siege Morag-Nog once again, cut and run. However, she eventually linked up with a mercenary company known as the Iron Pride... it was time for her to start doing what she wanted and that was do all sorts of wonderful things for the world. Acting as a mercenary would allow her to travel the lands and get a little bit of money on the side. On her travels, Morag-Nog created her signature weapon: the Tusk, and she's been with the company for about six years. Skills: Morag-Nog is intelligent, an inventor, and an okay-ish fighter. She's better at shooting stuff than those up-close encounters, though. Magic: No Magni. Weaponry: So far Morag-Nog's magnum opus is the: The Tusk. It's more or less a repeating crossbow created from several different parts. It's a rapid-fire crossbow without getting into the mumbo jumbo. It's still a rudimentary weapon that needs work, but it has an effective range of around fifty meters and a max range three times that (though hitting something from a hundred and fifty meters would probably not do a whole lot against armor). It can fire a barrage of around twelve arrows before Morag-Nog needs to reload, but she modified it to be able to take most kinds of arrows. But if someone gets too close she has an ax. Other:
