Leda drove for six hours from Atlanta, before pulling them over to a rest stop where she took a brief nap. Once she finished napping and had gotten something to drink and eat, she drove the final six hours. The tank of the truck ran out of gas right as they hit the Houston city limits, Leda pulling over to the side of the road. Artemis had said her hunters would escort them to Olympus with Calliope, so she didn't see a need to keep the truck much longer. Someone else could take care of it eventually. She didn't really care. They had killed the owner anyways and kidnapped the kid.
