With wide eyes, Kavan watched and listened as his newest friend basically professed his attraction for Julie MacMillan on the spot and asked her to dance along with him. The young man couldn't help but give Ryland props for being so bold; he briefly clapped along with the rest of the crowd when Julie accepted his invitation to the dance floor. It was after feeling Archer's grip tighten around him that Kavan realized how worried he was about their friends.
