Rowan is 5'7" and while decidedly not athletic, she is in shape with a slim body type. 

Fashion: It can generally be summed up in a simple word, 'Autumn'. Rowan tends to stick to the color scheme of dark greens, brown and a bit of dull yellow. She mostly has her coat on, except on the off hot day wear it is almost always a button up shirt. Her shoes are never anything fancy.

Demeanor: Rowan is aloof with a wandering mind. She often will be surprised a bit when spoken to directly as if she was thinking about something else entirely. This is usually nothing of great importance.

[color=007236][u]Personality[/u][/color]
Rowan is not a typical bookworm. While she has read her fair share of botany and alchemy books from her family, this is not typically the type of book she keeps around. Instead she keeps a A4 journal stuffed with notes in her coat, and keeps it at all times. Rowan is much more of an experimenter when it comes to magic and alchemy, and this journal records all of her findings. She is often greatly stressed when it is lost and carries it around almost everywhere.

Rowan spends a lot of time in the forest or attending her garden at home. While the garden may look nice and peaceful the true nature of it is a kin to Frankenstein's lab.

Rowan is a introvert by nature and often has a hard time introducing herself to new people. She detests direct conflict with her peers and will do most in her power to avoid it. And if she can't avoid it? Well that situation hasn't come up and she would like to keep it that way.

One time in the forest there was an injured black bear that Rowan nursed back to health. On the occasion, Rowan will go back into the woods or the bear will come to her backyard. They will just hang, she will feed him some honey she made up beforehand. Often noting how the bear reacted to different variations of the honey. His name is Baloo, she named him after the Jungle Book character.

The Moore family are originally from the United Kingdom, but migrated over to America in the early 1900's. Rowan's great grandmother introduced the family into the Sisters of the Dying Branch. The family has stayed in the same house since then, it has a backyard that leads into the forest.

It wasn't until Rowan's grandmother, Elizabeth Moore, came of age as an adult witch that the Moore family became influential with in the coven. Elizabeth wrote many new books on the subjects of botany and alchemy, as well as enchanting some of the trees around the wellspring to help protect it. Rowan desires more than anything to follow in her shoes.

Rowan's mother, Diana Moore, is a witch who uses animal magic. She married a man from another witch family who was born without magic ability. She decided to keep her last name and there was a mutual decision to carry that name onto their children to honor Elizabeth.

Gregory Miller, Rowan's father, being unable to cast magic but having knowledge of the world of magic works as a mountain ranger. He will patrol the area near the wellspring warning off normal humans with things like bear sightings and things like that. As a kid, her father often took her into the woods to let her explore.

But the influence of the family name would not last. Rowan's grandmother past away when she was only four. While her mother is a capable witch in her own right, her magic strengths were to do with animals and her feats are not seen as great as Elizabeth's. The Moore family lives in the shadow of their past accomplishments with their previous influence having dwindled back down to any other family in the coven.

Rowan has the same magic strengths as her grandmother. She has felt the pressure, put on by others, for her to study every word of her grandmothers notes because of it. But Rowan doesn't see that as the legacy her grandmother left behind. In her mind, the true legacy of her grandmother was the spirit of discovery and Rowan intends to honor that.

Can manipulate and adapt plants, this gains great results but takes to long to be considered any form of defense. This is best used to help gain alchemic properties and behaviors in plants that would otherwise not have them. Additionally, she can make plants act in ways they normally wouldn't, like glowing in the dark. She has yet to learn the greater applications of this power.

Naturally complementing her plant magic, Rowan excels at brewing various potions.

Rowan has also dabbled in illusion magic. This still takes a while for her to perform but it is something she can use comparatively quickly.

Rowan hasn't experienced a lot of the world, and has little ability to defend herself. She knows this isn't a great quality to have when coming into the world of witches, which is why she is glad to have her friends around her. While she is a powerful magic user in her own right it is always slow spells. This is why she is learning to bring the right potions for the situation.
