Blackjack is a gifted young pilot, who from a young age due to his 5 brothers proving to be decent pilots in their own rights lead Joey to be selected for training early. His combat and field results had record numbers, but his tactics where found less then ideal. Not a natural leader, he works best as a tactician or idea man to a central power figure, and while he is good at heart and a loyal friend his action and antic often put him and his allies on risky positions. 

His off time activities usually include playing cards with anyone looking to lose a few bucks. He is extremely lucky almost unnaturally in some regards.
